Know the feeling/look.....
400 Club members are entitled to season tickets but only something like 20% of members took up the option. Everyone else pays in at the gate on top of paying their weekly subscription.
I pay at the gate as theres no point in me getting a season ticket as I know I'll miss at least a 3rd of the home games for various reasons.
Have had a season ticket since 1992 9when a kids' one cost me, or more correctly, my dad, £10)
Now in the thrid year of the 5 year ticket. think I lost moneylst year but gained money this year. Just happy it saves the hassle on the day....
first season we got promoted i was a season ticket holder but since then i rather pay in the gate as i tend to be in the ground an hour early before the game! too expensive forking out money in the one go!
Season ticket, great value at Shelbourne, €100 for students which is inclusive of all home league games, league cup and european games, €10 student, €15 for adultt, not too sure what an adult season ticket costs!!!
sorry trevy, just picked your post at random to be honest, i just think that a season ticket represents more than just your continued admission to your clubs home games. It is a committment to the cause, putting your full backing behind the club, and its also a form of sponsorship / charity if your not going to go to all games. you'd buy a lotto ticket or a draw ticket as quick in the pub after a game.Quote:
