No idea to be honest but at a guess Manchester United won the European Cup in the 1960s at Wembley. Were any of their players born in London ? Nobby Stiles ?
I remember being so proud to see Dunne and Brennan in that side. Chances are next to zero now of seeing an Irishman in the Final let alone two. Shay was the first to play for us through the parentage rule. Thought Charlie Hurley might be but according to Wikipedia he was born here and moved when a baby. Looking at his Wikipedia page, nothing about his international career other than the bare stats https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Hurley Any Ireland/Wikipedia experts who could fill in the gaps - wonder who he scored against. He scored them in 1964 https://www.national-football-teams....ie_Hurley.html
You were on the right track, Stiles is a Mancunian though.

And you can add Bale as well now of course.
Miguel Munoz an answer on two pages in a row! Who'd a thunk it?
