I go because i am big enough and ugly enough to take care of myself,others though would feel pretty vunerable and intimidated.
Dundalk fans wont go in numbers to Tallaght because there is a very good chance that they will be attacked by a Shams R. scum element either before or after the game(or both). It isn't safe and that is the bottom line.In maybe 20 visits up there i have seen trouble at prob 18 of those games and don't be getting me started about the stewards or the Garda that "police" the matches -pure useless cnuts:rolleyes:

I've never had a problem up in Tallaght at a game but sometimes the guards do mess things up, once or twice they have kept us back which is normal but they then stop the Rovers fans from walking up the road and then let us out and both sets of fans are then mixing with each other. Makes no sense, if they wanted to make sure there was no trouble they should wait for the home fans to leave then let us out, not stop them and wait for us
But as I said i have never had a problem up there, trouble wise.
See this is the problem with some Shams fans, there is a security issue at their ground and whenever it is highlighted they go the defensive about how they were attacked in the opponents ground at one time or another. That is not the point here, the point is that on the majority of occassions that Dundalk play up in Tallaght some of our fans are attacked. I personally saw nothing in Friday but had trouble the previous time.Quote:

Dundalk fans actually haven't caused one bit of trouble in any encounters, dundalk fans have got attacked in every game in Tallaght since 09.
The thing about Rovers fans causing trouble-Well we all know what they are like, so really no need to get into.
The issue that has been discussed is how the gradai have let things slip.
not justifying anything, just my opinion on the matter. like i said ive never seen trouble after a game in tallaght, thats not to say there hasnt been trouble. Dundalk fans just have very short memories, or maybe they're taking the hammering they got really badly. If there has been issues with any supporters after games i would suggest they get onto Rovers and make a complaint and the board can work with the Garda to ensure that nothing happens again instead of bitchy comments on internet forumsQuote:
