The only advantage they'll be handed is time to prepare for the Juve game.
The UCD game will have to played later on and it could end up that Rovers play 3 league games in a week.
Hardly "handing them the title" is it?

Now shams fans turn to moan about game NOT postponed  sensible decision by UCD (presuming they agreed) but there should be consistency around the issue. Different application for different clubs leads to the sort of paranoia/ scare mongering we have seen on this thread. Expecting clubs to reach agreement on the issue does not work.
Not to mention the league's fixtures 2 days after the League selection play in the Aviva stadium game. Pats, for example, have 3 players on duty while our opponents, Drogheda, have none
Seeing as only 5 clubs are represented I'd imagine we're not the only game like this
The people who run UCD soccer are genuinely nice and care about football. I'd be shocked if they hadn't agreed to the game being re-arranged.
Also, they have a young squad and excellent facilities. A mid-week game wouldn't worry them at all.
