i dont agree with you there The1. It ain't rocket science to change the fixtures and it does get boring having the same fixtures every year. i take it Rathkeale are playing Newcastle West so next week as it has been for the past 3 yrs.

Does it matter who plays who in the fixtures? At the end of the season the most consistant team wins. Is it a problem for the players? I don't think so. Is Rathkeale v Newcastlewest the defining moment just because it's the second match of the season? I hope it isn't. It's a big game but not the end of things. There are a lot of teams who will decide the outcome of the title after all.

Best of luck to the lads from Broadford United for taking the Youths job. If they can get enough commitment from all the players there is enough talent to go a long way in the competition. Remember last years match in Wicklow when only 12 bothered to travel. My advice to them would be to pick lads who will see it through and not decide to play some mickey mouse GAA match that may clash with representing the League.
