Different doesnt mean unfair. Clubs have a choice. Many train on astroturf at times anyway.
Sligo player would be more used to the bounce of the ball in the showgrounds, Bohs players would be more used to the width of the pitch in dalymount and so on and so on.
Personally Id take a plastic pitch over some of the excuses for pitches Ive seen in the league. Its not perfect but very few are
