Interesting numbers.
The GAA have season tickets this season. These guarantee an All Ireland final ticket if your team reach the final. They were 75 euro for the first 8 games of national league and championship and a good seat at each game. You then pay extra for further rounds to the GAA final. Seems very cheap and a great deal for GAA fans.

I have the GAA sales season ticket figures as of January 13th approx 6 weeks into an 8 week sales cycle. There probably was a late surge but despite a limit of 250 there was clearly no urgent demand. A couple more soldout as the start of their season approached.
Now allowing for Dublin and Tyrone being a sellout the demand seems much less in many cases than the equivalent LoI club. I understand from a colleague that Dublin soldout immediately leaving many disapponted.
Now most of those listed below will be playing to huge crowds this summer. This backs up the theory that so many Irish sports fans are event junkies.
