Is there anything more annoying on here than people writing FACT in capital letters after something that�s obviously just opinion and nothing to do with fact whatsoever? Twice on one page, just to cap it off.....

I know what you mean.

However, while not being pedantic and using the word 'FACT' (whether capitilised or not), one can say with a great deal of certainty that Given would be the only Irish player selected, with McGeady making the squad.

I agree, Given is the only one with a chance of making that hypothetical first team. (He�s be a definite in my opinion). It was just the FACT thing that annoyed me. I don�t mind these types of threads, they are a bit of harmless fun and I like picking elevens!
