Season review

Best atmosphere: FAI Cup Final
Best away day: Beating Pats 1-0 at Inchicore at the start of the season. Important because we didn't know how good or bad we'd be this season, we'd had a good start and to beat a previously unbeaten team at home proved we could compete at the top end this season.
Best game: Derry 3-0 Linfield

Player of the season: Fahey, because he was able to produce on the highest stage
Young player of the season: McGinn
Player you would like your club to sign: Fahey or Kalonas.

Goal of the season: Higgins free kick at UCD on opening day as it was our first of the season, Deery's in LC final, Martyn's against Pats at home in SC
Highlight of the season: Beating Pats twice in 4 days, beating Linfield, first half of LC Final
Lowlight: FAI Cup final defeat.

Worst away day: Bray 1-0 Derry, ruined our unbeaten run plus I still haven't warmed up after it.
Worst atmosphere: Away to Shamrock Rovers, 3rd last game of the season, nothing to play for really.
Best chant: "He's gonna sign Ola Tidman" directed at Pat Fenlon at Dalymount
Worst game: Losing 3-2 Cork or losing 3-0 at home to Pats
Best fans: Cork
Best ground: United Park
Least favourite ground: Belfield Bowl. (Old Belfield was one of my fav away grounds.)

Best atmosphere:Shelbourne v. Limerick 37 (inside spritually). UCD v. Galway UTD (more overt).
Best away day: Terryland Park. (1-2 middle game.)
Best game:St. Pat's 0: 0 UCD. A demonstration of various styles and formations. Joy.

Player of the season: David Mooney
Young player of the season: Outside UCD. Chunka Manjor. (He's played in two tiers already).
Player you would like your club to sign: Besides ex-UCD. Bangoura (D. Kiev), eircom: Farudin Kuzovidic
Worst Player: Mark Quigley. Sulking, feigning injury and having football stopped. After Alan McNally stretched and volleyed the ball away with the outside of his right boot.
Honourable mention: Gary Dempsey. For giving the 'Hooligan Defence'. "Nobody told me not to" (there weren't any signs.)

Goal of the season: Matti Gregg. It's very rare for a 'keeper to score, our reserve 'keeper Billy Brennan has only 6 or seven in 15 'A' games.
Highlight of the season: Galway 1:2 UCD. Still above bot. 3 after Game 22..
Lowlight: Losing Games 23-27.

Worst away day: Sligo Rovers.
worst atmosphere: Turner's Cross. Second game.
Best chant: Vi-et-Nam. Resurrecting a classic from 1991 against Pat's.
Worst game: The ones where security is threathened.
Best fans:Limerick 37's. ( heard and saw four times).
Best ground:KCHP Stadium, Monaghan. Facilities incl. 'Mon Dogs'.
Least favourite ground: None. All games start with anticipation

Best atmosphere: cork city at home first time round
Best away day: Sham Rovers, my first experience of tolka!
Best game: Either of the Bray, bar the fact we lost both!:(

Best ground: The Cross
Least favourite ground: No place ever bothers me!!

Best away day: Coming back to win 3-2 in the Brandywell
Best game: Drogs -v- Kiev second Leg was enjoyable

Goal of the season: O'Flynn -v- Cobh
Highlight of the season: Coming out of Examinership, Setanta Cup Final
Lowlight: Arkaga/Examinership, home LC semi final loss to Wexford Youths

Worst away day: The second Draw -v- Cobh
Worst atmosphere: Limerick away in Cup (Lims fans were OK, we were brutal)
Best chant: "They don't care about football....." Bray at Home, aimed at Arkaga.
Worst game: Limerick away in the Cup
Best fans: Glentoran, hon. mention Derry.
Best ground: The Cross by a mile, if that's not allowed, the Jodi stand is nice.
Least favourite ground: United Park

Open to correction, but I think he's 27 or 28 :confused:
