A well trained monkey could hand out the correct paper on the correct day. Why would the examinations commission put a test on Saturday? W*nkers.
Eh...anyone on the beaches of Clare over last few days?!
I was on two different beaches and there was these weird flies all over the place!! :(
Testicles. That is all.
You do realise the 20th is also a Saturday? And a lot of people/supervisors could have holidays booked as everyone would have thought they would be finished by now.
Inhumane? Get a grip FFS. It hardly makes a difference during exams. It's not like people would be nursing a hangover during the leaving cert. Saturday was the next available time to have it so made perfect sense.
ya but they put it on the saturday before the hardest week. for people doing honors maths, irish, business, french and biology this is a nightmare. it would have been better to have it on the 13th, but that would have been the sensible thing to do:rolleyes:
Yeah but some people/supervisors could have been finished by then and have holidays booked or other stuff.
There was extra time to study this morning so I don't buy the excuse that there's less time to study those subjects. If anyone needed to study them badly they should have done them this morning or planned better.

Did you never think that these flies were in league with sharks?
Very annoyed at the town council wannabe who decided it would be a good idea to text me at 4.02 this morning to ask me to give him my vote. A toe up the butt is what he should get. Found it almost impossible to get back to sleep.
1 cent Bird's Eye fish fingers in Tesco...great value:)
New Zealand roads are cac!
Tooth is killing me...
This thread has gone very serious lately:(.
Very true. Could we split off the "Leaving Cert Debacle" section into a thread of its own perhaps?
I found out that UCD fans (well 2 of them at least) are great craic.
Watching Global Gathering on C4...Brilliant!

I see that the former Galway United CPO Niall McNelis got himself elected in Galway at the weekend. Well done Niall!
I'd forgotten how tasty an apple can be. Yes, how very appeltising they can be sometimes!
Drinking lucozade apple at the moment and it's pretty tasty too.

Ah Cidona, weaning kids onto Cider all these years, tasty stuff every now and again. It's the real authentic kid in the pub drink. If I'm feeling nostalgic it's always Cidona and a packet of bacon fries or Coke, a Mars bar and a packet of Tayto that I crave.
its actually quite funny when you eventually realise how out of your depth you are in your job. Then you worry about how long you can keep faking it... :D
I absolutely despise listening to Clive Tydlesley and Pleat on ITV. Smug patronising gits the pair of them.
Englands jersey is complete gack.
Romanian women are ridiculously hot.
Their sports channel also has 2 girls presenting sports news at 11pm, and they gradually strip down to their knickers and heels during the show, while still delivering the news. Sports and topless girls, what more could you want?
