Never a good look when a manager decides to sign his own son, but hopefully Cork fans might put me straight:

Sligo have signed Ryan O'Kane on loan from shels. Another one that suits all parties
Shels fans don't even know if the lad is any use or muck from 5 very brief substitute appearances. One of a number of head scratchers on our recruitment to sign a bunch of wingers over two windows and then Duff decided from Game One of the season he did not want to play a system with any wingers
Hopefully Rayhaan Tulloch will be moving on next he must be gathering a serious amount of dust somewhere at the back of the stands or in his house no sight of him for about two months now not even making the bench
Any news on Cian Bargarys I jury stays and return with Cobh Ramblers?
Or has the player left the club!
Mousset gone from Bohs. Shame it didn't work out but it looks like he's not physically up to it anymore.
Goodbye Moose. We’ll always have Sligo.
Grimsby have today signed ex Ireland 21s attacking midfielder Zak Gilsenan so I’d imagine that could be instead of Clarke.
While on the topic of Grimsby they’ve also signed ex Cork/Shels/Cobh man Jaze Kabia to add to Darragh Burns who they already have. They seem to be targeting the Irish football market for signings
There's obviously been a terrible mistake made at the Brandywell, as we've signed a 21 year old for the next year.

Dayle Rooney has signed a contract extension with Bohs. Not a new signing but real hard worker and showing a bit more end product recently
Bohs linked with Patrick Hickey in the Examiner. I'm not sure how he would fit in with the style of football Reynolds is using at the moment. Could be a James Clarke replacement I guess but they're completely different footballers. Intriguing one on paper.
I wonder is Kabia's current agent the same one who got that move for him back in 2021 to Livingston in the Scottish Premier League? I just don't see any track record as to why Grimsby would sign him at League Two level, he has bounced around aimlessly since that Livingston spell until last season at Truro City scoring a decent 16 goals in their promotion from National League South but that level is about the equivalent of our First Division
I think people look at Hickey and assume he's a certain type of player because of his size. He's actually best when he has the ball at his feet and he's running past players. He can play anywhere really.
Anything to the noise about Aidan Keena ?
According to the man himself. No

Harps sign Oran Brogan

Luke McNicholas gone to Forest Green from Wrexham.
David Odumosu is our new goalkeeper. Previously at Drogs and Pats (and Cliftonville). Is he any good?
I see he’s been bought for an undisclosed fee too. Was a backup keeper at Pats and was pretty awful in the handful of games he played at the start of the 2023 season when Danny Rogers was injured, to the point that Dean Lyness was signed from the free agent market about a month into the season and took the number 1 jersey straight away. Odumosu was a good young keeper at Drogheda before that and has reportedly been very good for Cliftonville since going there
Aaron Bolger signs for Galway Utd

Looks lik we've signed Kian Moore from UCD, who's been warming their bench for the last few months. I guess he's moving from one bench to another for the rest of the season.
I'm not a fan by any means but the manager seems to like him and he's generally been ok of late. Missed the game last week but by all accounts, UCD could have scored plenty more goals only for Halwax. He's liable to throw in a rick here and there but sure who isn't in the first division.
Joey O’Brien confirmed as manager of Shelbourne on a permanent basis..
Excellent in his early days at Drogheda, did a bit of ***** acting then transfer wise, I'd suggest he got bad advice from somewhere, and Drogs booted him out. Never worked out at Pats but seemed very popular up north. Probably not a bad signing given your position
I think Bolger could do well at Galway. His best attributes are off the ball, his work rate and tackling. Not very good on the ball but he’s not exactly going to be tasked with being a Pirlo type player under Caulfield so the off the ball aspects will serve him well in that very hard working Galway side
I was his biggest critic a few months ago and thought he should have been dropped after the Dundalk 2-1. But I'll hold my hands up and say he hasn't done a whole lot wrong in the last 3 months. No massive clangers in that time or points dropped because of him.
So I'm surprised at this signing too, dunno what we get out of it, he hasn't played himself in 3 months. Presume he got dropped for a reason. Can't believe I'm saying it but I'd leave Halwax as #1 still.
