Not sure if it's been posted already but Aaron Greene on trial with Bohs.
thanks battery rover
nope think your thinking of noel haverty (still under contract with us)
Was he with UCD last season and rumoured to be signed for Pats this season?
Is that not Timmy Purcell you're thinking of?
Came on for second half of last night's friendly with Athlone (FT 1-0). Looked good, very lively. Played up front with Paddy Madden. not sure if we need another striker as we have Jayo, Raff, Quigley and Madden already there, haven't heard any of them leaving. Maybe Greene pulls a good pint !
Good luck with this, in my view he is well past PD standard, caught out for pace on too many occasions last year including at
least 2 home games which resulted in a defeat by one goal. Had some decent games, can organise things well, but FD standard at the very best.
Harps hope to have secured the signings of Kevin McHugh (Linfield) and Johnny Minnock (Kildrum Tigers) by Tuesday, according to todays local newspaper. That should be the squad confirmed at that stage.
McHugh would be a huge signing for ye. Statement of intent for the coming season.
Money is not always a solution.
Kev wants to come back to Harps, he has done for a while now. He says he wants to come back while he is still young enough and not when he is winding down his career.
Kenny and Derry were after Kevin but neither him nor Linfield would deal.
The squad James Gallagher has assembled on the clubs lowest budget in the past decade, is pretty strong and has generated a new feeling of optimism around the club (cautiously awaiting the kick in the nads). I would be happy with a promotion play-off place.Quote:

Baba Issaka (ex Kildare County) played for Wexford Youths against Pat's as did confirmed new signing Dean Richards (Freebooters, Kilkenny) and a number of as yet unnamed signings/triallists.
It looks like Wallace is giving Noel O'Connor some freedom with the squad anyway.
There are any news about "Joxer" Kelly? He's actually such an amazing player. I hope he will find a new club in the PD...
Pats have signed Conor Kenna from Drogheda
would be happy with that if true he is a up and coming playerQuote:

tom king was ltfc player of the season last year.. We got him from Sligo Rovers A team.. personally I was very sorry to see him go as he was well liked by the fans.. It was him that crossed the ball to Liam Lynch when we knocked ye out last season in the FAI CUp!!
We've offered Mark Doninger(Blyth Spartans midfielder) a contract, he's in Sligo this week with a view to signing.
Anthony Gorman linked with possible Harps return, things looking alot more postive around Finn Park at the moment. http://www.donegaldemocrat.ie/donega...urn.6053194.jp
SC confirmed in today's Galway Independent that Jimmy Brown (Ex Distillery and Glenavon manager) will be joining the club in a scouting role. Similar to the one he had at Dundalk before he took over at Lisburn Distillery.
He also confirmed that Jamie Creaney will be joining the club in a development role.
That's shocking, I'd be very concerned if I was a Galway fan, only a matter of time before McGinley is signed.
