When we played croom away, the pitch was rock hard especially round by the goals very uneven and very bobbly, the ball could have had bounced in any direction. But with the rain, it could be softened up abit and may in fact help it.Quote:

Travelled out to Croom last night for the game to be called off...again...to be fair to the Croom lads they sadi they had rang the fixtures secretary and told him at lunch time that if it kept raining the game wasn't gonna be played...and he said to let the ref. make the decision.
This must be p*ss take like in all honesty we must have offended someone in there at some stage to make us travel out the on a thursday eveing in the first place yet alone for it to be called off...after they had been informed it wasn't gonna be playable. Or is it becasue we aren't one or the "elite" from the city??? Damn Clare rednecks.

We (hill celtic had the bare 11 and were very unlucky not to win) we battled hard and had a few chances, Herbertstown are the slowest team in the league that we have played and any team with pace should beat them, Our LB was in goal as our GK was away at a stag and our other keeper was injured( just aswell he didnt have much to do but he did handle everything that came his way) and most of the rest of the rest of the squad were either working or didnt bother turning up.
