Dont think any other games will be played now, other than the games effecting the bottom of the table for relegation........and where did you see Coonagh down to play Croom???

It turns out that St.Pats played 2 players who had been sent off in their previous game. Their names were even on the card. St.Pats were informed of it but didnt argue it.
Congrats to Prospect.
Dont know where Gerrard saw Coonagh down to play Croom. Coonagh are playing Park in the cup on Sunday morning.
Murroe beat Knockainey last night, not sure of the score.
Congrats to Prospect on promotion, well deserved.
Re Crooms recent form - you can't blame the club for giving a run to the players who didn't get many runs over the season, which their early win has allowed them to do. As we all know it's hard enought to keep players interested and training etc
When you see what Kilmallock & Dromore have done this season the standard in 1A can't be much different from 1B. Think Croom & Prospect can give it a good go.
yeah, hill tried to stay up. I think park left it late then to notify about dropping down a division as the fixtures were out an all.
Bad blow to park and finnan not going up. Not good for the amalgamation either as newtown have little to offer from their a team as they were relegated from clare premier....
Yes, but look at the fixtures for this Sunday..........do you see Coonagh v Croom??
As I said, those games will hardly be played now, as there is no point.....Normally what the LDMC do is award a point to each team, when there is no need to play a particular game, unless of course the Hill Celtic rumour is true.......then it could be a very different story, where I am sure the 3rd place team in the division below (which is 1B) Hill Celitc, would be promoted (as was the case when Park dropped from Prem a few seasons back and it allowed Herbertstown to go up as the 3rd place team in Div 1A)
As far as I know the amalgamation is agreed in principle. Only stumbling block is the lottery grant Newtown got. Although I didn't hear that from the men themselves.
We needed to get up this year.
Could have a massive effect on who goes where next season.
Will the Newtown lads want to be playing in 1B next year? I doubt it!!!
I have a heard that they was talk about amalgamating Carew and Hill Celtic but its now not happening. They are just going to ground share next season instead.
If there was a chance of it happening then 3 clubs would go up as relegated teams are not allowed to stay up if a team pulls out. Thats in the rules and the reason Hill Celtic didnt get to stay up the year Park came down. It happens every summer in at least one division in the league.
Also on the Croom game, in case Gerrard hasnt noticed but I am invloved with Coonagh and the Croom game will not be played unless we want to but theres no point travelling out there now. We already travelled out there this season twice without playing so Im not going again.
Larry why would Coonagh not try to secure 3rd spot "IF" and its a big if the Hill Celtic thing turns out to be true...this would norm happen in the summer so I would think you could be costing your club a "Chance"???
Surely park will try and win the remaining games...as it is Fairview are same points as you and Park 1 ahead...surely the Coonagh club would be annoyed if anthing happened in the summer and you decided not to travel out there due to the fact that their pitch is a disgrace and caused 3 games to be called off>>>>!!
Lads let me clear this up once and for all. Hill Celtic are not finishing anything. They will be playing 1a next season. There is no third spot for 1b. End of debate.

The LDMC should change the leagues next season.First two teams get promoted with 3rd,4th and 5th playing off for the 3rd promotion spot.Basically something on to this years 1B league the way 3rd 4th and 5th are so close together.:ball:
Some mightn't agree but it would be interesting.:confused:
how far did 1b teams go in munster junior or fai cups..newtown did well in both cup and still we got relegated so how do you compare them..
I also think when we join up wit park next season you'll be looking for a new club again..why not try olympic b as they are always looking for players..:)[/QUOTE]
You still upset about your relegation, get over it,for someone who has had a shocking season your a gas man with your comments, and for making the team next year i have no response, ill do the talking on the pitch and leave you ramble on here,i just hope there is a C team for you because your a gent :D

still have to get out no matter what league you are :ball:: and also progressing in competition is a big achievement from a sub standard clare league compared to the super leagues in limerick :D
