Any Park rangers here ? Was did Albert Finnan sacked from Park Rangers because he wanted to field a weakened side against Hill Celtic ?
Some of the club officials got wind and resulted in the termination of his contract ?
This could be all rumours as well though ?
I cant believe he is gone to Park after his reportd comments about the drinking culture on his last visit.Has he appointed Matt Talbot as his assistant???Quote:

You seem to be cutting Abbey down at every chance, but remember that same Abbey side drew up in the View, were only betaen 1-0 by Balla and drew 3-3 up in the Boro (led 3-1 with 5mins to go)
YOU WERE STILL RELEGATED, THE LEAGUE NEVER LIES, BUT I AGREE WITH YOUR PLAYER STATS. WILL THOSE PLAYERS GO TO THE BORO IS THE QUESTION.Quote:

No, it's been known for some time that Albert was going to manage Bridge United in the Clare League,Nobbers his sidekick isn't allowed to do anything as he just got married and the missus put the foot down.Quote:

I don't know what the story is with Walla but I hope he stays,
and yes I think we should come straight back up and it might be a blessing in disguise that we did get relegated, so at least if we do get promoted again we know what to do and what not to do. (all going well, we'll see what happens!!!!!)
Did u think walla was a good manager, did ye have numbers training alot of work went into abbey getting the pitch in good nick,i hope ye get back up.

We had plenty training before xmas but after that it went downhill and most times training was cancelled due to only having 3 or 4 players turning up (not good enough when your fighting relegation I'm afraid).
Beleive it or not I don't actually think our pitch is great, it looks good but when you actually walk or play on it, it's a different story.
Anyway, hopefully we'll be back next year taking points from the View & The Boro once again all going well.
since i played with daithi and shane o hanlon i have no doubts they are well capable of doing a good job for the boro ! also they are top men of the pitch best of luck lads
ill say it to pa keep guessing, but this is not him have another goQuote:

Can these lads bring success to the boro or is it goin to be another season of certain players bitchin behind their back and tellin the world how much of a better job anybody else could do??Quote:

Neil Jordan is the new Park Rangers manager assisted by Tony Mac. Dermot Finnan is not going back to Park and indeed was never considered for such a move. It has been known for some time in Shannon that Parks current management team were stepping aside.
best of luck to carew park tomorrow
