Lordon is on Cork Senior Football panel, definatly better than the other two in my opinion and thats from seeing all 3 play on a good few ocasions
I said at the start of the season that I fancied wilton to win and and kinsale and blarney street to struggle...blarney street were struggling but they got more experience on board with the management of the team and its paying off now...as for kinsale they have a lot of games left to play but they will even admit themselves they are not at their best this year...big games left to decide where the trophy ends up especially the midweek games
Coachford 1 killumney 0 shocking game of football coachford had 1 shot and scored, don't think killumney had any shot on target, killumney were on top for first half but coachford were well on top second half before finishing with handbags,, next weekend should be interesting,,,
Kinsale 2 Knockavilla 2 a good game of ball played on a smashing surface in Madden Park which made for a good game of ball. Both teams gave it their all for the 90min's knockavilla went up 1 nil when keeper took villa striker out just inside peno area yellow card followed which keeper can feel lucky wasn't a red then in around 38 mins Dereck Mac showed his class with goal of the game 1 all halftime. 2 half villa went 2 1 after 5 mins with great volley on the run from villa winger lead lasted about 5 mins when ball delivered to backpost and kinsale winger powered header into back of net play went back and forth for last 30 mins with best chance of game falling to villa but hit post and wide.
What a beautiful weekend!- http://coachingskills4life.blogspot.com/
Big results for Kilreen and Kanturk at the weekend. Was very surprised to see both teams struggling at the wrong end in Premier A. Knowing some of the Kilreen lads they are finally showing some of last years form, Kanturk were another team that impressed me when we played them but results have been poor for them. Maybe both teams can continue the recent good form and push on in a very competitive division.
thats two league defeats for the returning killumney manager now .,it will be close in both legs of that semi final, but neither are as good as park who i fancy to go all the way.
I have to agree I was disgusted with the attitudes of the two players for killumney bringing the whole team down with the threats and reactions after the game,, credit to the coachford lads for not retaliating, lets just hope for a good clean game at the weekend,, I have to fancy killumney at home they will have a full squad, and hope the manager goes back to the team he had out against the glen especially the back line it was one of the best I have seen all season,,,
What exactly happened? Have these players been dealt with by the AUL?
http://coachingskills4life.blogspot.com/
not sure if it went in referees report .but the carry on was disgracefull by killumney players ,maybe billy the fog might give us an account of what happened or rebel head.
Was there a fight or handbags?
Where have all the posts gone?
Everyone ruling Pearse out so in the AOH?? I for one think they could make the final. I havent seen Park play but if the 'big' players from Pearse turn up on the day (both days in this case;)) they can be quite a handful.
Went out to watch killumney and coachford thismorning , killumney were on top start to finish winning comfortably 4 nil , two desperate mistakes by Riordan in goal for coachford gave killumney a 2 nil lead after 10 mins, then a third goal before the break and shortly into the second half killumney finnished of their scoring with their 4th. It was a good clean game no hassle on the pitch coachford line were a bit mouthy but nothin major. Coachford have a big battle in second leg, in my opinion killumney have made the final. It was a great display of football by killumney Molly didn't have yo make one save fron a shot due to killumneys back line, the returning manager did a good job with his back line. Well done killumney great game and a great advantage for second leg !!
A great advantage for 2 weeks time , it's not like coachford keeper to make mistakes like that he just had one of those days , it would be hard for coachford to claw back 4 goals in the next leg,,, what did you make of killumneys back line today ? I thought it was outstanding Molly didn't have to do a thing ,,
I was at the Killumney V Coachford match yesterday morning and thouught it was a good game, Killumney were well on top through out the game, I was a bit dissappointed in the Coachford line they even tried to heckle the Killumney goalkeeper not very sporting, but a good game otherwise. I am looking forward to the second leg in two weeks time. Everyone should really remember soccer is a sport a pastime that everyone is suppose to enjoy when it starts to become more than that it's time to ask yourself what your doing playing.

Compliments on the blog Dixie. Some good and interesting reading!!
ANYpredictions on the final league positions in the top divisions.i predict park,united.prem.PREM.A pearse with castleview or springfield to go up as well.,douglas hall.glen celtic to win their sections as well.there could be a huge revamp in aul next season and not before time,a few teams are definately going senior.
Who have you heard are going playing senior Shetland
Heard a few of those names too Six yard but i didnt hear they had applied already. It will be an interesting summer to see how that works out.
one or two teams named there would be able but others without naming anyone would struggle...there are also one or two who should of gone msl years ago when they were very good. There was a team winning everything in the premier years ago and they should have gone msl but chose not to.....they are now struggling in the first division
Six-Yard, all of the teams you have been mentioned all over cork about going MSL but i can tell you for a fact that 2 of the teams named have not applied yet!
Why would buttevant be one of the favourites?? Also heard the Pearse manager was asked to take over Casement Seniors next season. That would mean the juniors probably going Senior again with probably half of Pearse joining them.
They have a very good set up k.c.
