Actually it was Paul Bodin. I think they actually needed a win and they lost the match if memory serves me correctly so that probably wouldn't have been enough.Quote:

Italy and Spain last failed to qualify for the Euro Championships in 1992, as A. Stu said.Quote:

Which team played in the FA Cup 3 years in a row at Wembley in the last 10 years, and never won the Cup?
When was the last time that the FA Cup semi-finals were both played at Wembley?
OK I see you've posted but I haven't looked! (Promise!)Quote:

Newcastle played at Wembley in 1998, 1999, and 2000. They lost 2 FA Cup finals, and lost a semi-final there also.Quote:

Since their promotion to the Premiership in 1993, How many seasons has the Premiership game between Liverpool-Newcastle being played at Anfield first, before the return game in Newcastle?
When was the first Monday Night Premiership game shown live at Anfield, by Sky?
I think it's only 2. This season and in the 2002-03 season.Quote:

Kerry Blue got it right. Since Newcastle's promotion to the Premiership in 1993, the Liverpool-Newcastle fixture has only been played at Anfield twice before the return game in Newcastle. The seasons were 2002/03, and 2004/05. There was another season when it was scheduled to be at Anfield in 1997/98, but as Princess Diana was killed on the day of the game, the game was postponed until after the two teams played each other in Newcastle.Quote:

Who won the first FAI Senior International Player of the Year Award in 1989?
When was the last European Cup final not shown live on British tv?
Don't know those ones but here's a good one...
Prior to Hampden in 2002 what was the last Scottish ground to host a major European Final? When was it played? And who were the participants?
1976 European Cup, Hampden Park, Bayern v St Ettienne?Quote:
