This thread is gone very quiet recently,any reason for this? was away for last few months,back for wknd and will prob go watch ncw and abbey,i heard in cronins today that ncw are missing 2 or 3 starters so for that reason id give abbey a chance,i hope its a good game. Any other good games on 2mora?
Old Mill 4-2 Adare,,,goals by the 3 'Amigos ' Crowleys ( Kevin Crowley Brian Crowley & Diarmuid Crowley ) and a free kick into the top right hand corner from Gearoid Whelan gave Old Mill 3 valuable points in the relegation battle... a great game to watch !!!!!!

Very poor game in ncw this morn btwn ncw and abbey, was looking forward to quality but it was terrible, were both teams missing alot of players or what? ncw prob deserved to win it as abbey offered noting at all.it was unlucky for the abbey young centre half to make mistake for winner as he did have decent game up until that.

Well lads looks like killeaney and NCW rovers are destined for division 1, looks like its going to be a close call on who wins the league with all the top 3 having to play eachother yet, NCW remaining fixtures are broadford ballingarry and killeaney at home and carig and rathkeale away,,, has anyone ballingarry or broadfords remaining fixtures?
Ballingarry have to play Killeaney(h), Broadford(a), NCW(a), and NCW rovers(h)
while Broadford have to play Killeaney(a), Ballingarry(h), Glin(a), NCW(a), Shannonside(h) and Carrig(h)
I wouldn't rule Glin out of relegation trouble yet, but 3 of Killeaney's last 6 games are against the top 3 so that is a big worry for them.
I cant see past NCW for the league, I havent been overly impressed with Broadford this season especially at the back (conceded 5 in their last 2 games against Carrig and NCW rovers).
But the league table doesn't lie so credit where credit is due.
Its amazing to see Adare and Askeaton near the wrong end of division 1, not so long ago they were premier teams and especially considering they would be 2 of the bigger towns in Co. Limerick.
I had a stroll through the demense in NCW not so long ago and walked by the Rovers pitches ... lets just say I'm really glad they are moving out of there.
I predict Abbey B to win the Hogan Cup on Friday night.

I agree with u snafu,i think ncw will win the lge, even though i seen them last wk and they were extremly poor but i guess its a bit harsh to judge them on that performance.Brdf could push them yet as they have best panel in premier div. As for rovers pitch its being that way for as long as i remember and thats going back a bit. Dont kno anything about abbey b or glin b only that there both b teams so prob dont win mant trophies so best of luck to both. Are abbey and glin also playing tonight in premier?
Yeah the Abbeyfeale and Glin game is on tonight at 7;30. I also agree that glin are still heavily involved in the relegation battle and they will get no favors from Abbeyfeale. I can't see Ballingarry winning the league but in this league u can't write any team off. The NCW and Broadford league game is going to a real cup game affair where defeat for Broadford will end their title chase.
Anyone know when the Friday night games will be starting ?
hopefully they leave the mid week games a while, its tough on teams with lads working or in college, its always going to be a struggle to make a 630 ko. balling garry only have 3 league games after this weekend, and both NCW and broadford will have 5 each, so maybe only need for 1 midweek or 2midweek games i reckon.

i think it will be ncw rovers and killeaney going down to the first division.. they are both playing very poor this year.. on rovers pitch its been like that for years and fair play to them on finally getting a new pitch. sound bunch of fellas and a good club.cant see glin rovers going down this year.winners of the league will be decided on the games between broadford,ballingarry and ncw.. maybe ncw to win it going on them being at home to broadford and ballingarry.it will be a close finish for the title.sad to see askeaton at the bottom half of the 1st division with a great field and dressing rooms
heard some results today..ballingarry lost 1-0 to KILLEANEY. ncw beat rockhill 3-0. shannonside beat ncw rovers 3-2..broadford beat carrig celtic 1-0.

killeaney winning might drive them on a bit. has anyone got them and glins run in would be interesting, also heard the next round of desmond cup has been drawn any one got the ties.
