You could be right....im going on the table on the TSDL website, i would fancy wins for Celtic, Saints and Town and Cashel to end a draw and Town to win on pens or in extra time

The first half was even enough, but michaels were stronger in the second half. Had it been in Clonmel, it would have been a different story. In fairness michaels had plenty of scoring chances, but if you keep missing sitters like that you won't go far. (Unless of course John Delaney keeps carrying ye along ;) )
St michaels v Newcastle west off.. Could ye let us know next time, like the day before if the field will be playable or not.everyone knew that it would have been off..both sides could have made plans to do stuff..
peake villa game also off doubt there will be any game on today
There is no way Tommy Lewis would let any club call off a game before the morning of the game even when common sense told most people matches had no chance. Most pitches were solid yesterday and it went to -8 last night. Thaw is meant to start St Stephens day. Looks like a day to finish the xmas shopping!!!
Town v Cashel game off as well, both Clonmel sides will now lose home advantage,Saints will obviously keep theirs
Celtic v borris is off aswell.
thats dissapointing now pony. maybe people in clonmel should try to get to the top of the game with hard work like john delaney has done instead of begrudging him and st michaels to be fair he has done an awful lot for soccer in south tipp. michaels have got floodlighting, town and celtic have got 1st class all weather pitches during his tenure and you can be sure fai funding paid some part in all of those.
John Delaney is figure of ridicule in the nations press, all the pundits and experts have a go at him on tv,former players have lashed him in the media and he is the man who appointed Staunton....so for the good of irish football lets hope nobody in clonmel or anywhere else in Ireland follows his exploits :)
There could be at lot more games added to St Stephens day fixture list. Tommy Lewis did warn all clubs that they may have matches over Christmas. I think this weekends freeze out may force his hand. Of course all depends on the weather!!!
thats not very fair tipp top. the majority of leading journalists are dubs and incase you have never been to dublin they dont even think soccer exists outside of dublin so it kills them to see a man from down the country being the top dog in the fai. we all know the staunton appointment was a mistake but the irish team have made huge strides since and we all had the honour of seeing them train in our own county when they trained in cooke park a few years ago. you ask the people of a small country club in west tipp called st nicholas fc how good they felt to have trappatoni liam brady and co open their grounds that year also. the irish team had never played a game outside dublin until they played in thomond park. but as you say give the ceo job back to a 'jackeen' again sher and we will be back to the old days again.
The FAI is recognised by every genuine sports fan in this country as a shambles of an organisation, they were the laughing stock of world football when John Delaney asked "please sir can we be the 33rd team in the world cup"....we all cringed as they laughed on tv discussing it
and when has the fai in its history not been a shambles????
I am a genuine sports fan and you don't speak for me, 5 years ago you would never of got anyone to visit small clubs outside Dublin, he got Paki Bonner to give out medals to our Schoolboys last year, this might not seem much to you but to every genuine sports fan working their butts off running clubs it means a lot.
the problem with this forum is that there are too many people who just use the forum to have a pop at players and clubs, the genuine football fan has given up posting or reading because it is full of guys who are new to the league and know it all,to say that the dubs were not aware of football outside the pale is outdated and frankly wrong,Peake Villa u15 team were invited to Dublin to play the irish u14 team over 10 years ago and the irish team came to Bansha then for the return fixture to play the TSSDL u15 team, Peake Villa were also invited to Dublin by the Fai to play St Patricks Athletic in a tournament with Harry Redknapp as guest of honour, you guys are unaware of all these things because you are only interested in your own clubs and having pops at your rivals than actually genuine fans of the league and i want to make it clear i am not aiming this at everyone, there are people on this forum like Balls who comments on all clubs and games and is obviously a fan and many others are the same
I know I was there! Trap has been in south Tipperary visiting clubs 4 times in the last 12 months alone and other members of the FAI team ie Paki Bonner, Liam Brady and Ray Houghton have been here a number of times this year and that is only south Tipp. You having to pull up 1 visit that lasted 15 mins over 5 years ago only makes my point for me!!
