"The game was all about [Tony Hibbert] and getting him 60 minutes. That was the most important thing," Stubbs told evertontv.
"Just by him being there is a big help to the lads playing around him. His presence allowed Tyias [Browning] and Shane [Duffy] to play and know the right places where they should be.
"I thought that was evident in their displays because I thought they were our stand-out performers."
Duffy, who has made three appearances for David Moyes' side this season, is the current captain of Everton's under-21 side.

Turns out he turned down an invite to Darron Gibson's stag party in Marbella to captain our under-21s against Denmark recently.

Played 90 minutes in Everton's first pre-season game against Austria Vienna, which they lost 2-1. Didn't have the best of games and his handball gave away a penalty, but interesting that Martinez paired him with both Distin and Jagielka. Gibson also played a part in the game and Martinez praised his influence as a senior player.

You're both being silly. It is "natural" for people to ingest anything the human digestive system is capable of processing, ie whatever they can find. Drinking cow's milk might be a bit parasitic but it's certainly not unnatural.

It depends on your definition of "natural". If you take it to its conclusion, everything humans do is natural, because we're animals, and as such are part of the natural world (and I do realise that's not the way the word is normally used). That's not the point I was trying to make, however. Humans have been drinking animal milk for probably somewhere of the same order of time as we've been cooking our food. If drinking milk is unnatural, cooking our food is as well (and I don't think either is, I know people who are part of the "raw food" movement, and they're a bunch of wild-eyed crusties on a par with the anti-fluoridation and 9/11 Truther crowd)Quote:
