One of my fellow Irish immigrants here in Regina got arrested for armed robbery last night. At 1am drove his truck in through the door armed with a gun and wasn't able to get in, drove off and was arrested a short time later where he assaulted a few cops. Played football with him. Loose cannon. Irish community here is shocked but not surprised. Crazy sh!t really.

I had a friend like that once. He stabbed me with an ornamental knife/dagger while we were living in a hostel. It wasn't deliberate though.
Goodness me! Well of course it had to have been. I can't think what kind of provocation you'd give that would make somebody want to stab you.

I will say this. The British gave us fabulous architecture, particularly in Limerick, which we seem hellbent on destroying for some reason.
