1265 and Jackman tonight, announced.
Great crowd in Limerick. . The amount of foreign interest in rovers matches now is deadly, i seen about 15 chinese people and then all sorts of other nationalities :)
I think they said 4,400 as attendance in Tallaght at the end.
Amazing crowd in tallaght tonight. . Mainly down to the 300 kids who got free tickets off the rovers camp but im sure a few of them will be back again after seeing that performance.
Great to see all them at the match
1984 at Turners Cross last night according to match report on extra time.
302 at UCD/Fingal
Not a chance in hell was the just under 2000 in Turners Cross. I would of said a generous 1200.
1984 is far to much of a coincidental attendance on the last ever meeting of our two clubs before they go back to Cork City FC (1984)
On the Rovers forum they are saying could be up on 300, but has to be taken with a pinch of salt.
I wasnt at it so cant comment either way.
We always seem to have a larger travelling support for yourselves and Bohs rather than Shams or any of the other Dublin based clubs.
Is there any photos going around? Not a chance 1900 people there. Season Tickets counted even if they don't show up?
I know the stadium quite well and I'm usually not far off in my guesses. I thought it was around 2000, 1984 might be a coincedence, or perhaps it was close to that and they decided to annouce that instead of the actual number, I don't know. But it sounds about right. The announced attendences are always correct normally, no reason to assume this wasn't.
Not really expecting a good crowd tomorrow because its the 3rd rovers game in 4 days, its a monday night and theres the liverpool match on which will keep a few people at home but it should still be a decent enough crowd :)
Wasn't near 300 but the most that travelled from Sligo in a fair few years. The away allocation is 150 and you had about 50 outside that too
talked toa few after the gasme. Same kind of opinions about the game as most Pats fan. Good game, Sligo on top in first, Pats finished strongly. Probably could've nicked it right at the death
Paul Cook spent the night in mcDowells too, so he seems to like Pats fans too
What about the first game of the season against yee there was it 2 seasons ago?
Massive crowd up for that one when we were put on the tamac terrace.
If me memory is right I think yee won 3-1, with Guy tearing us a new one.
TBH ive never heard him complaining about any LOI fans bar Shams fans, usual complaints.Quote:

He really makes an effort to talk to everyone.
About 300 at Youths - Shels
apparently no offical attendance at gufc -v- dufc for some reason? but guesstimates are around 800-850
I would have thought around the 500 mark in the morton last night.
3048 per extratime for Rovers v UCD. Was thinking about the 3000 mark myself.
It's hard to get high attendance here in Ireland. Twitter stats were revealed today, there is a vast difference, as to be expected, between the top Irish person being followed on twitter compared to the top followed in the UK. Something to draw a comparison is all.
The FAI, which I'm sure it still does, is supposed to be made of branches as well, e.g. the Munster FA. All of these branches need to work more on developing the game within the provinces. Nationwide the league lack enough derbies to keep interest. Some see it as more a Gaelic minded thing but I can only really ever see Irish football fans getting behind a club from their region or county. In some cases a team should be created for an area. Like South Leinster for example, Kildare County didn't exactly work, which was a shame. Maybe a club could be created with a name that will get support of that area.
For me, it's good to see a Kerry side not part of the League of Ireland. Hopefully in years, Dynamos will progress and gain support.
Getting more back to the topic, this league is more a League of Leinster this year. Only Galway and Sligo mixing things up, at least they have their Connaught derby I guess.
To create more interest nationwide, the FAI might want to move away from a 10 team division and increase it to 16. It's give more of a chance for Dublin derbies, Leinster derbies, Munster derbies, Connaught derbies and Ulster Derbies in top flight. Hopefully it is something they could move to which would create more interest nationwide, more coverage, more derbies and hopefully better attendances. If over 16 clubs could show themselves capable of being awarded a Premier Division licences, it is definitely a direction the League of Ireland should go.
Good crowd in tallaght last night for a monday night
Dodge,
Your guessimates are getting worse :)
You must have done your count at quarter past 7 dodge. :)
I'm only half joking re crowds.
Brutal from both sides. The actual figures don't matter
Drogs v Bohs last night was about 800 or so.
The other Drogheda ones you're missing would be something like 500 for Drogs v Bray. And 600 for Drogs v Sligo
