Generally don’t sit anywhere near them except on away trips but seems to be a new brand of trouble the last while. Arriving in dressed in black and snoods hiding their face and the likes. I’m sure they’ll mature and be replaced by likewise.

Derry lads random attack on a couple of people in Sligo is I think what you’re on about. I doubt our lads would be brave enough to start anything up in Derry.

I never associated a scum aspect in the Sligo rovers support at all so Im shocked. Didnt even think there was a hatred between Galway Utd and Sligo Rovers.

Fair enough, the few incidents in Derry and the Sligo fans being started on kind of merged in the swiz cheese memory. Still, its fooking annoying that its any part of things at all here as idealistic as it may be.

Being broadcast on the BBC World Service, this covered sport worldwide eg US Ice Hockey, IPL Indian cricket and Australian soccer etc. However it also found time to speak to a company based in Dundalk which promotes this business, with a visit to the Brandywell on matchday thrown in for good measure! (Programme is only 15 mins long btw)

Are there any other decent 'slebs' and clubs Rockshore could do this with? Chris O'Dowd and Sligo? Michael D and Galway (would have to wait untIl he's out of the Áras)? Dara Ó'Briain and Bray?

The comedian/ actor!? He's from Roscommon. Don't think he's a Rovers fan.
We have the local breweries in the Showgrounds for the last few seasons, with a Rovers beers too atm called 1928 which is a really nice crisp beer. So can't see Rockshore getting an invite.

So reference the charity jersey discussion in the gameweek thread I was making a genuine point which Nesta tbf probably articulated a lot better. I'll admit to having a bit of a dig last week about an issue that isn't something that would keep me awake at night but I would put that under banter, the making money off charity is a different thing altogetherimo

Actually Nestas point about people in bohs not setting out to make money off the charity angle is a fair one so I shouldn't have called it a scam (apols) but my point about the split still stands.
