Completely disagree yes our form is poor but apart from some senior lads the squad us very young with 4/5? Learning the game at b level and while our youth s are ok we have 3:4 cracking players who no doubt will step up over best 2/3 years as for competing with Limerick team saints will not and rightfully so offer the finacial incentives that's are been offered
Saints have been lucky to have had some great players over the last 10 years, however they are now experiencing a tough time, their bench against Celtic was as poor as I have ever seen in a Saints squad. Their youths are very poor, I am not suggesting they have ignored the youth structure, I would say it's just a case of the players not being there, it might now be a period of rebuilding for Saints
To a certain extent I agree we are going through rebuilding stage saints have always tried to freshen it up the like of chalkie Paul Tobin are going to b huge losses ehen they go but the team will move on and if you look closely at the age profile of the team /squad appx 10 players are 24 and under which makes us one the youngest around
The youths. / schoolboy structure is one the best in junior football and lots of work been done there while youths team nit as strong it will produce 5:6 players fir our 2 junior teams next season ( our b team has about 7 plsyers u21 on its squad)it's just a case of waiting and having patience , if your remember few years back town had a top youths team coady, Byrnes , Kiely etc saints were poor that year but still cooper, Ritchie ryan and jimmy Carr came through so you could argue saints had the better youth team in long run and I this will be the case over next 2:3 seasons bearing in mind saints win 3/5 last youth leagues .
I think writing saints off at the minute is silly yes they are not playing well and the injuries have been horrendous but are saints capable of winning every completion they are left in ? , absolutely !

Waterford League 1, TSDL 2. Half-time 1-0 to Waterford. Two great goals from Evan Maguire in second-half. TSDL now through to knockout stages. Last game sees TSDL at home to Wexford League to decide who tops the group. A draw will do TSDL as they have better goal difference.
what was tsdl team. great to get result down there cant have been easy
TSDL: Evan Comerford (Clonmel Town), Paul Tobin (St. Michael’s), Kevin Waters (Clonmel Celtic), Craig Condon (Clonmel Celtic), John Shanahan (Clonmel Town), Trevor Cosgrave (St. Michael’s), Jimmy Carr (St. Michael’s), Thomas Fahey (St. Michael’s), Emmet Johnson (Old Bridge), Evan Maguire (Clonmel Celtic), David Slattery (Cashel Town)
Subs used: Alan Hayes (St. Michael’s) for Maguire, Shane Flynn (Clonmel Town) for Cosgrave, Mark Lowry (St. Nicholas) for Comerford (inj)
Clubs and referees should recheck their fixture on the TSDL website www.tsdl.ie for next Sunday 6th January because I think some alterations were made to facilitate the F.A.I. Junior Cup game between Rosegreen and Castlebar Celtic.
Another good win for Cahir park on sunday, beat Glengoole 3-0 in the Paddy Purtill, Park on a roll this season , they have played 11 games at home this season in all competions, and have yet to concede a single goal, that takes some doing at any level in football, Michael Grace has really got the team organised and brought in some experienced players to bring along their very promising bunch of young players. future looks bright for Cahir park,
Looking good for the park alright. Another couple of wins should wrap up the league. Cant see past them for div 1 shield either. Some very good young players in the club and the experience of getting in Norman O Brien, Dennis Peters and Paddy O Donnell this season has transformed them. Hopefully they can build again next year . Be great to see them a force in the Tsdl and up challenging with Saints, town and celtic
