well done to fairviews pat mcgarry who played in IRELANDS 2 nil win over Northern ireland 2 nite ,pat played all the first half along side St micheals chalky walsh in central defence. All players involved got half a match,, Again well done pat to pat for keeping the flag flying for our league, congrads on receiveing your cap,,well deserved
yeah both Pat and chalky had a great game, good win, well done Pat, keep it going kid
Well done Pat, well deserved and you kept the flag flying for the city and did the League proud.
Well Kilmallock def won't be stopping them with 13 players. Its badly obvious the A team need more players , surely to God there are players good enough around the county who would like to play premier. Its up to you and Willie to find these players .Ye can't blame the Hurlers this year either. Kilmallock can't keep relyin on local talent or it will b a dogfight to survive every year
.
1st of all ill explain the first part to you.players will not move from town to town out here in the sticks as all there mates play for there town.2nd of all anyone good enough to play in the premier are looking for bobs which are not at my disposal.
3rd of all your final comment i dont get one bit.we are nearing the end of season and you come on here talking horse manure about certain players.look at the premier table man and there is 6 if not seven teams in the dogfight every year.oh yea on your 13 players part.players missing for one reason or another were.
jake mul hurling
seanie kelly injured
chris todd suspended
barry sheedy fai schools
niall burchill injured
arron costello school
and yourself not good enough.
thats great news about p.mcgarry and congrats to him, have seen him play for the oscar traynor and a couple of fairview games no doubt he,s an excellent player,of course its good recognition for the league too.anyone know where there many from limerick at the game,i would presume both fairview and the council represented.
apologies
not geting personal just you seem to come on here spouting rubbish every now and again.people from the towns will not move.in the three years i have been involved ive asked two from bruff one from knockainey and one from hospital herbertstown and no joy.also a few from lim but no bobs.also you think with the resources we have your going to improve players every year come out of the fog lad when our lads are up for it they are as good as most teams in premier. thats limerick premier not english premier.
no intention of being a distraction pa, posts removed .I'm a fan at the end of the day and just can't understand how with the squad of serious players there we aqre where we are?again, feels like dejavu
faces you should be getting bobs for nthe job you are doing down there with very little resources, keep up the good work, and take no notice of the knockers, dont see them doing it

shannon town 0 carew park 3 (dean finnan, john boyle, steven grant)
another good win and clean sheet this morning carew were 3 up at half time eased off in the second half. i must say well done to shannon 3 down they never gave in and kept on working very hard.
star 0 corbally 2
Lague table updated above.........
Star 0-2 Corbally
The less said about the refs performance this morning the better, he turned down 2 blatant peno's for Star, and failed to send off the Corbally keeper.
That said I think Corbally deserved the win, and it surely puts them safe now.
Star were missing 7 players from their squad this morning (3 injured, 3 no show & 1 suspended) and of those 7 players, 5 would normally start...........
Best of luck to Corbally for the rest of the season.
star 0-2 corbally. a big 3 pts for us today.goals by ian o donoghue (5mins) and mike kinsella (60mins) a tough game as always down in star but we deserved the win today.in saying that tho we should have had 10 goals and some of the finishing in the box was very poor from us.trying to walk it into the goal.wouldnt agree with you about being safe abbeyvale.still a long way to go.3 no shows from star squad today isnt what you need in a 6 pointer on a game like todays was for both teams.best of luck to star for remainder of the season.
