I'm wondering that myself. It's obvious he has some ability, but something has obviously gone wrong for him along the way.

A back up to Brush has to be a priority, have not seen anyone mentioned but we saw in the Cup last season against Shams what happened when Jennings went between the posts, disaster. Should not cost anything like what a good outfield player would cost, any starring keepers in the region?

Heard a whisper Alan Keane (Galway Utd.) may be joining us. He's in Australia at the moment but supposed to be back this weekend. Could be tied up by Tuesday. Anyone hear anything?

Kieran Kelly wouldnt be a bad second choice keeper he was with us a few years back.But he,s with Castlebar Celtic now.

He's with Athlone Town since start of 2007. Didnt hear he had left them, but not sure.

According to the Weekender, Alan Keane,Shaun Holmes and Ciaran Kelly were all training with the first team yesterday altough Owen Morrison and Stephen Parkhouse remain the only players officially signed.

One million euro it will cost to run the club this season according to Nally in the Champion. 296,000 has been paid to the Revenue since the last AGM and hoped to have the remaining small amount sorted by August.

1 Million is a lot of money with the economy like it is, i think the club needs to act now for the summer to try an dbring in a glamour friendly against somebody. Something that can make up some dosh. Sending out the begging bowl is a non runner there is a two week break in the summer which coincides witha 5 week period where we only have 1 home game. So the club needs to be ready and have something in place for this period !

We still haven't gotten our freindly against Celtic so, we'll have to wait and see.

I've seen it loads of times on this forum about Celtic owing us a freindly, could be wrong but i'm fairly sure thats what I seen.

Jeez Thats from 14 years ago, Celtic said ownership of the club changed and it was the old board that made that promise of a friendly not the new one. So i think we can forget about that now.

Might be a bit unrealistic but would it be possible to get a summer freindly against Everton ? As I said though, might be a bit unrealistic.

No doubt. My three year old niece would be better. I'll never forget his shocking display against Bohs last year at Dalymount....embarrassing. Then again he shouldn't even have been on the pitch as Brush wasn't injured at the time.

All the players in bold are stil here AFAIK and you i think your fusing to players together when you said Oisin Melly, do you mean Oisin Mannion and Gary Melly ?

Gino O' Boyle and Brian McMoroow are playing for local clubs, and i'm not sure if Ross McLoughlin is still an A-Team player, as for Oisin Mannion and Gary Melly I both of them ar ein the 'A' Team, Oisin Mannion definetly is anyways.

Holmes transfer is confirmed in the Sligo Champion. Said Keane's deal was hoped to be concluded soon, or something like that.
