Park 0 Prospect 1
cant believe Park let it slip at home..they must be gutted having had a huge advantage...
By those results it looks like Croom have thrown in the towel...pity as it was set up for a great finish with them still to play Prospect...Its Prospects to throw away now.
Well done to Croom...enjoy next year in 1A.

Park 0 Prospect 1
Good win for prospect badly needed after a string of draws.
It was 0-0 at the break it was a poor first half with the ball up in the air for most of it park had a half chance or 2. Prospect were much the better team in the second half playing some good football and got their reward with 20 mins to go that man kelly again getting the only goal of the game.
Well done to park on a fine set up fine dressing rooms and a fab pitch.
Abbeyvale is the 2 points prospect were rewarded from the St.pats game over the illegel player included in that updated table?
Excellent result for Murroe but for Croom to lose by 7 is embarrassing i have to say whether they won the league or not.Hope they havent packed it in cos its one of the best finishes in 1B in years.
Cant believe how Park let it slip either.A draw even would have set them up nicely for their last two games.
that's 1B for u.:D:D:D
Someone else already asked this on the previous page. That match was only played last Thursday so if there was an objection lodged the very earliest it could have been discussed at the LDMC was last night. They would then ask the team in question to attend the meeting the week after so the very earliest that there could be a decision on this is next Tuesday night.
no i,m afraid .but in fairness it would be a poor reflection on our a team if any of the b team were involved cos apart fom maybe 2/3 the interest and commitment is,nt there.also there is none of them even nearly good enough.agree with you tho, would be nice to see someone pushing
If they trained maybe one or two of our lads could be decent squad players for the Premier team, but who wants to be just a squad player??? That's the point of B teams, so lads can play ball every week. A few subs with the A team are too proud or arrogant to sign a B form. They'd rather warm the bench every week. That's their own choice. Not for me though. I just want to play ball for Pike. If it can't be Pike A then Pike B does me just fine.
I thought Prospect played Knockainey last Thursday? The chairman of the LDMC was out at the Park Croom game on the Sunday and he confirmed that Prospect were being awarded 2 points for the St. Pat's incident.Quote:

Awful result for Park last night was at the game and both teams were woeful. What situation does that leave Park in?
If Prospect can provide proof they will get the points.
According to the results on here they played last Thursday:
The earliest an objection could have been posted (and it has to be registered post) was Friday which would have been received at the earliest yesterday, seeing as Monday was a bank holiday. If it was received yesterday it would have been read out at last nights LDMC meeting.
How the LDMC chairman could confirm that the points will be awarded on Sunday before an objection had even been received by the LDMC is most baffling. Even then St.Pats are entitled to due process so as I said already the earliest there could be a decision on this is next Tuesday night.
But its not surprising at all to hear that the LDMC have already made their decision before even discussing it with the entire committee present.
hi pike b, can't believe you are slagging players who are sitting on the bench, training week in week out and trying to play at the highest level. who may be the subs who have been on the bench and who you think should sign b forms. Most of the players in the A squad have played plenty of games. There squad is not big enough to have the same players on the bench each week...
There's no harm in signing a B form at the start of the year, for the weeks when they know they won't play. Which there are a lot of especially at the start of the season. Then when the squad needs them they go up. This would improve the B team no end. And let lads on the fringes of the A team play regular football, so when they get the call up they are match fit. What's wrong with that????
Just been contacted by Pat Sheehan of the Leader asking to nominate players for team of the season in each Division.
Any suggestion?

The points in question are against Pats, they played Knockainey on the Thurs. St Pats game was the week before and they have been awarded the points no question about it. Park have only themselvs to blame, been very inconsistant since Christmas and in some cases bloody awful. 1b is a crazy division but interesting if your team is not involved
Well this should be interesting...
I have been to a good few games out of pure boredom and heres my 2 pence worth....
Have to really concentrate on top 4 teams....
Ps Names not a strong point but lads here will most likely know them !!!!!!!!
Goals: The Croom Keeper
Rightful: Croom lad
Centrehalf: The Coonagh Captain/ The Croom Black hair guy...
Leftful: Prospect lad
Middle: Keith Doran (Coonagh), Small Park lad shaved Head, English lad (Coonagh) Eddie (Park)
Front: Pip Maloney & Prospect Goal machine of late....(Or Knockainey tall guy)
Well lads.
I think 1B managers should put forward their best players who they think deserves to be on 'team of the season'.From wat i've seen so far players from CROOM PARK COONAGH and PROSPECT are only been mentioned.
Just because there up at the top of the league.Fairview are up there as well but none of their players were mentioned which they should have been.
There's a few more from other teams that should have been mentioned as well.
Murroe keeper was very impressive against us in both games.
