Rovers V Drogs 4041.
About 2200 at Harps v Limerick. The sleeping giant is awakening;)
With the end of season attendances set to bring the figures up again, will this season see much of a change from last season overall?
I know that Galway United has virtually doubled from the overall from last year.
Must have been bout 84 at rams kilkenny in Buckley, 80 rams 4 kilkenny. **** poor crowd.
203 for Kildare County V Wexford youths. Good to see our german fan club making the trip over as well.;)
I heard 1700 for the Harps attendance, but I really did think more than that were there. Substantially more than that- at least 2000.
Looke a relatively poor crowd for Derry-UCD - lots of gaps in the stand. That may have to do with me being behind one of the goals instead of in Block A as per usual though. Would say under 2000 (2000 being the crowd for the first game), but imagine MariborKev will have an official figure.
I'd say undoubtedly.
The final run-in last year lifted the season-average for both divisions, and as both divisions are already up this year(to-date) versus last season then it looks very likely we'll have had another increase. I don't think the average will jump hugely from where it is now though, as of all the teams in the running in both divisions, only Harps seem to be getting vastly improved crowds right now.
The crowd at Rovers-Drogheda on Friday looked very disappointing on TV for two of the Top 3 clubs in the league this late on. The final games involving City, Cork and Shels over the last 2 seasons all aoppeared to be noticeably bigger from memory.
Looks overall that we could end-up with a 30% increase on attendances versus last year. Considering most Premier clubs had their single biggest gate last year against Shels, such a large increase is doubly impressive with the Reds languishing in the First Division at the moment. A hugely positive step if it such an increase sustains and builds further next year.
Complete guess for Bray v Cork City - maybe 700 (seemed to be about 300 in the main "stand" ( tent ;) )
I'm in no way a Cork apologist but Bray on a Monday night would be hard to get to. Especially considering that a few may be heading to Drogheda on Friday. Trying to explain to your boss why you need time off work on a Monday to go to Bray when you've already got the time off for Friday probably isn't that easy.
Athlone Town vs Dundalk 683

There was more then 700 at the Bray v Cork match, i would say it was near 1000 and about 900 against derry on monday aswell.
420 at UCD-Longford.

Great support from Longford tonight. Fair play.
Yeah, official figure. Was about right too.

Bohs v Galway (2) crowd of 1800 according to our MB

i think 370 was announced
Pats v Bohs - guessing 2,000:
Surprisingly low attendance, Monday night and live on tv probably the excuses. There were 570 in the away end, 1,430 home fans is probably a good guesstimate.
Pats v Rovers - guessing 2,750:
Away end just about full (it holds 957), main stand about two-thrds full (1200) and another 600 on the terraces.
Kildare County V Athlone Town: 73
