Might be in the minority, but I don't think he's all that great and was surprised he got such a big move to Hull.

Interesting move for ex Bohs striker Ali Reghba, he’s left Leicester for the Algerian league

Having seen quite a bit of him I think a lot of peoples opinion of him is coloured by the couple of cracking goals he scored for us. He was injured quite a bit and for a good few games he played in 2019 the games passed him by and he really only started to come good towards the end of the 2020 season. I even remember him being subbed off in the first half in one game, against Pats I think, he was that poor.
If he replicates the form he had towards the end of his time with us then he could be a good addition for Bohs. I’m not that bothered that he’s gone there instead of coming back to us.
We ourselves have made two signings tonight. Simon Power whos currently with Norwich City and an underage Irish international has a younger brother Joe who signs for us from Greystones Utd. Also we have signed a Christian magerusan whos a free agent after being injured. He was with Bohs previously. Anyone any opinion on these two players lads?
Flores is a good player, can obviously score brilliant goals, superb passer and can read the game brilliantly, he just needs to stay fit. I looked up his stats for Dundalk, played a lot / most games in europe, and good few cup runs, also made huge impact in extra time in 2020 cup final, and not just his part in the 4th goal, winning the ball and setting up Kelly to cross for McMillan to win it.
However he only played 29 league games over 2 seasons, and a good few of those would been as a sub. There lies the problem, bread and butter stuff he needs to be 'at it' .
His previous injuries and potential to get injured again would be the concern for me, but when on form, a fine player and I really enjoyed watching him when he was in full flow, good move for him to Bohs.
If Magersan can stay fit he will be a gem of a player, anytime I saw he play he scored goals. Very unfortunate with injuries and a big question is on saying fit. Hopefully he does.
Magerusan is a fantastic player and one of the best finishers I've seen at Bohs. He's just been incredibly unlucky with injuries. IF he stays fit and injury free, he'll score a ton of goals in the first division. The only risk I'd see from Longfords point of view is that Keith Long is a huge fan of his, so I reckon if he stayed fir for the season and scored goals, Long would be interested in bringing him back.
Dan Carr to Shels, interesting signing for them…
Matt Srbely in at City from Tampa Bay Rowdies on loan. No idea what to think of that one, its come completely out of the blue.
Kian Moore has signed for UCD from Bohs
Louis Britton signs for Waterford on loan until June from Bristol City under 23 team.
Daniel Automobile.......Most lovable but useless player we had since the move to Tallafornia.
One of our new signings, Killian Cantwell was injured today with potentially a lengthy period out of action.
I heard Walker with Cork broke his leg in a friendly today as well.
Yeah he confirmed it to be a leg break after the game. Happened just infront of where I was sat, Breslin went past him and put a cross into the box which was put wide by a pats player but then there was audible roars from Walker still on the ground which was unpleasant to hear, sounded a horrific one for him. I’d need to see a replay of it but I think he may have got his leg caught in the ground and body weight caused the break, I don’t recall there being contact between the 2 players.
Awful for any player to pick up serious injuries, particularly right at the start of a new season. Hopefully Walker and Cantwell recover soon and get some games in later on in the season
Torsion fractures like that are nasty and horrible to see for any spectator!! Best of luck to the chap in his rehab and hopefully relatively simple going. Believe it or not one of the reasons rugby has been ok with using artificial pitches is that this type of injury is reduced even with the longer studs. There is something to be said for mucky pitches too where there is some give underfoot. With hybrid pitches and where a layer if woven in to stop a pitch breaking up we will see more of torsion breaks and rotational soft tissue injury. Footwear especially blade type studs need a look at too. That said there is always going to be an element of bad luck for a player.
Jordan McEneff to Shels on loan…

Sligo dipping into the European loan market,Kiwi international defender on loan for the season from Rio Ave,could be a decent signing that….
From Rio Ave B technically. Has also played in the Swedish fourth tier, Swiss second tier and Danish second tier in the last couple of years. Those kind of careers are fascinating in their own way.
What transfer windows are still open (bar free agents)? Can Athlone still sign up a chunk from Rovers II on loan?
Lewis Macari signs for Dundalk. 20 year old from Stoke, on a 6 month loan, as his contract is up then. Plays CB or RB, so would assume that is Dundalk finished with their signings.
Grandson of Manchester takeaway owner Lou Macari.
Callum Stringer is the latest player to put pen to paper for Waterford. Stringer took the step up from the 19s last year.
Is there any website with all the squads updated?
Harps confirm the signing of French/Congo midfielder Élie-Gael N'Zeyi Kibonge. Stadium announcers rejoice when Finn Harps come to town this year.
