Bradley was booked for taking too long on a corner. Kavanagh for kicking the ball away.

That's nothing, Turner was booked on Tuesday for winning a corner.
Another great European night in Richmond last night, that's now 10 games unbeaten in Richmond in Europe for us, Haven't been beaten there in Europe this Millennium:) It's a shame the next round has to be moved to Tallaght, I hope we are still in the tie come the home game should make for another interesting night in Europe for Ireland's European Club!!
Many Rovers fans making the trip to Denmark? Hard enough to get money to go on one European trip never mind 2 in a week, Had a few mates who went to Tallin and loved it, They are looking into getting to Copenhagen on the cheap
It's just not possible to do on the cheap, have been looking at every possible way of getting there over the last few days, can't be done for less than 350 return unless you are under 26 in which case SAS are doing direct flights for 140. As for numbers going there's two charters, one 90 seater fans one and the team charter with capacity for 50 fans also. They are both booked up and there are a good few who paid the 400 quid plus for the scheduled flights. All in all probably the guts of 300 will make the trip. It will be hard to top Tallinn though, great place.
When accommodation, game ticket, and other expenses are considered, it's almost double that figure.
Is that your excuse?

rte is gona televise the home game....what about the away match?!
Presumably not. It's a strange one for them to arrange before they know the result of the first leg. Setanta have Rangers-Malmo scheduled, which I'm sure will be a huge ratings draw.
NASA's Space travel ended yesterday.Quote:

ya but i think his point was being a rovers fan it wouldn't be a case of nice police helping a nice wayward little irishman.
that's very decent tho not many or any police force would do that.
I assume Dodge's mate was linguistically challenged, anybody that helpless and naturally incoherent should be kept off the streets for their own safety.
A good week for the LOI. Now we know that clubs from lesser ranked leagues can be dispatched with a bit of effort. Time will tell if the industrious LOI can surpass the success rate of the League of Iceland (whose clubs are by now renowned for their diligent passing game) with their 5 wins and a draw already under the belt.
Isn't it a crime to be a nazi in Denmark, the whole WWII thing and all....

Meanwhile...Shamrock Rovers Champions League 1st Leg against Copenhagen will be shown live on Setanta on the 27th...Kick-off is 7pm
Good few of us heading to Ukraine via Rzeszów. €380 flights. Few hours on a bus/train. Cheap flights compared to bloody Iceland. We get the worst European draws travel wise!
What destinations would you like?Quote:

Right it ended 4-2 to Vorskla.
Dear Paul Cook,
Main threats:
Markoski – left sided forward. Very skilful – long ball to back post for 2nd goal perfect. I’m not sure what you can do to stop him.
Dalko: playmaker middle of park Richie Ryan needs to be all over him like a bad suit.
Zakarluchka: very strong MF – took the ball down and flicked it over the defence to set up the first goal (like a fitter N’Do)
Bezus: number 9 came on as a sub – the commentators were going on about him being the next big thang – very aggressive – peeled off from a group of six in the box to score the third goal at the back post.
Good news. They can be got at from set pieces. Terrible terrible defending for both goals conceded. First one – centre halves fell asleep and a 5 foot nothing midfielder got in between them to head it in.
Goalie and the centre halves totally amateur on a corner – big centre half from Metallurg scored – free header almost.
They are very skilful and it will be a real indicator of Sligo’s skill to see if they can match them.
They are terrible on set pieces, though. N’Do crosses, Blinkhorn flicks it on, Doyle back post…away goal.
Yours, B2bW
PS. The pitch is huge and it’s going to be very hot.
Dear Pete Mahon…I’m going to watch the Karpaty match now…

Good to see you're utilizing the Irish summer.
Kazachstan is far enough, but European football is all about travel and adventure. You can visit Wales or Holland anytime.Quote:
