Did the bohs night sell out?
Did the bohs night sell out?
to answer your earlier question, it is in todays Herald that the Department sent the required letter lifting the charge and so the monies were released. If youi have any further questions on this matter, please write a letter to your local TD.
Regarding the Night at the Olympia - I wasnt there obviously but have been told by the organisers that it was a sell out but i also read there were a couple of empty seats. Those seats were paid for though which is the main thing.
I think Ardal O'Hanlon pulled out a few weeks ago. The night itself was supposed to have been fantastic, Royseven and Owen Colleary getting particularly good reviews from the lads who were there.
Does this mean that Bohs fans will finally grasp the concept of a sell out vs a full house? Bohs fans seemed to have great difficulty with this concept when we had the sold out signs in Tallaght before the east stand was built yet there were always a few empty seats in the ground.
Who was working the bar?
Is it still Gerry & Gerry in charge at Bohs? If it is then they are hanging on longer than Fianna Fail at this stage.
you are a shining beacon to all league clubs..paid your players ..and in full too
we shifted them fairly quickly - got rid of Tommy as well
unlike Bohs, and Drogs, we didn't keep giving the club back to the same people to make the same mistakes
Thats a no btw, they are in no way solely to blame for the catastrophical way the club has been run in the last 10 years and at no point in the last 10 years have we only had 2 directors.
theyre not the only ones sligo23...

Hope they are getting worried watching the goings on in Egypt and Libya.
See from The Star this morning Shaun Williams and Ronan Finn expected to sign for Bohs .Whats the budget at now absolute Joke.
That's Finn Park.
The plan seems to have been to cut the wage bill by 75% or so from 1m to 250k, looking at the below that looks about right.
The board have not discussed the budget with the media, these figures come from Fenlon who has no reason to lie and no history of doing so even going back to Shels from what I remember.

Thought he was a GAA umpire staging a protest
Cork didn't vote in TNB, and couldn't vote him out. Ye did vote the two Gerries in, and took too long to vote them out. Can't compare the two situations.
Really?
I helped Glenville on their stiles for the Cup game last year and got by chance to see the official guestlist submitted by Bohs ...
Have a guess who was on it?
If these people are gone off the scene, why were Bohs still affording them VIP treatment?
;-)
Not sure what VIP treatment they were accorded but hardly unusual to have former officials/players etc on a "free " list for matches. You might be surprised to know this is quite common at most LOI clubs.
I can assure you neither Gerry has a role on the current Bohs board irrespective of whether they pay into matches or not.
What exactly does "VIP treatment" entail in domestic Irish football? A free can of fanta?
In Jackman there's a section of grass cut a bit shorter for them to stand on.
Free cup of tea and cheapo biscuits in Flancare!
Full body massage from Gary Twigg in Tallaght.
you can thank the examiner for giving tommy the club. oh and we did everythign possible to save the club, to keep the debt etc
In fact I reckon if we hadn't applied for the First Division license as a safety net, the FAI would have given us a premier license for CCIFL
