He was the No. 1 on the team sheet I suspect during the early days of Trap's reign but his downward spiral thereafter can't be blamed on Trap but on injury. Looking at his Wikipedia page, I never knew he played for England at Junior level.Quote:

I think he and Andrews will do well for themselves in the future. Kilbane is already doing well in the media as are Cunningham and Sadlier. Arguably Hunt too. A good vintage of decent, smart and capable people.

Reid is a good lad, honest pro. I knew before he was close to his Jamaican & Irish heritage. Enjoy his and Ian Rush's articles about Ireland. But I don't agree with using him or his article just to score brownie points (for the 4th or 5th time).

Good article here by him on his careers, injuries and the fear about the end of his playing days. But is it any different from someone in their own job outside of football. They're soon forgotten once they close the door behind them for the last time (albeit without the previous adulation).
