Still our best crowds in 4 years, wahey...
They were in the premier before and crowds were at highest around 1,600. Wouldn't be higher than their neighbors and nowhere near Cork or Rover but would be highly respectable, but one year their average att was about 1,000 which would be one of the lower supported clubs. Its hard to know but if Harps were doing well and had the new ground finished they could get over the 1,000 mark again. A few years down the road is a possibility but in the near future no.
Nonsense, before being relegated, the last quarter of the season we were getting still 1,000 upwards. A successful Finn Harps would, in my opinion, without any doubt, be getting upwards of 2,500 every game. And that's even after the amount of s**t we've had to deal with in the past 5 years.

Hopefully our new poster campaigns will have the desired results given time as they have created a bit of discussion.
Some classics on the way for our remaining games

397 at Limerick Wexford
From what i could see this evening around 90-100 at mervue-v-salthill.
2775 at Cork City V Derry City
Very poor crowds reported so far for tonight. I suppose most soccer followers were glued to the telly watching the Germans play. great poster from Atlone and hopefully they can create a bit of interest in the club around their town. Limerick are finding it difficult to increase their support even with their team winning nearly all their games. About a 100 people at the Galway derby is not great either and it would be good to know if this figure is acceptable to those office holders in the FAI who see Salthill Devon Galway along with Mervue as the future of League of Ireland in the west.
Fair play to the Cork fans they are supporting their club in good numbers.
Silly to be playing a full round of matches when the Euros is coming to a crucial stage. Should have been delayed for another week or if not put on Wednesday (no Euro games) or Saturday afternoon.
Terrible crowd in Richmond, I'd say 1,500 at most with about 250/300 Bohs fans
