Totally agree, I can't understand why the des league didn't just go for it from the start as they had nothing to lose. Fair play to Kerry though and best of luck in next round

The last few seasons have been poor and we have not been competitive, looking at the results in the FAI, Desmond teams are ahead of Kerry teams individually, so should this not carry on to the Oscar Traynor sides? It was 4 - 1 over the2 legs which is a bit if a hiding. IMO there needs to be a manager who is currently not involved with a club and attends games within the league regularly,This has not been the case over the last couple of seasons and it has to be addressed. The commette need to start looking for next seasons manager now and take this competition seriously again!

I agree with aldo..Desmond should have gone for it with playing 4-3-3 formation..well done to all the players that turned up to represent the league..shame on the players that didn't turn up and didn't want to play for their league..but then again they probably had good reasons..

Bit of a shock with NCW only drawing 2 - 2, with ballingarry down to 10 men for half the game. Broadford are still flying it. Best of luck to all desmond league sides in FAI this weekend, hope they all come out the right side.
Its going to be very close this year Broadford being the most consistant at the moment....Glin and Ballingarry will be tough teams to beat also and could take more points off the top teams...Shannonside dropped points again this wekend
Best of luck in the FAI Junior cup this wekend....

Hi lads, playing newcastlewest in FAI this weekend. played them 2 years ago and lost 1-0, would the team have changed much since, what are they like? Cheers lads
We have lost 3 players this year but 2 of those players were not playing when we played avenue utd 2 years ago..it was a good game 2 years ago played out in lees road (I think it's called that) and they were a sound bunch of lads who looked after us with grub afterwards in a pub..it should be a good game this weekend

Broadford Utd v Innisvilla FC or Kilumney Utd
Tralee Dyn or Shannonside FC v Howth Celtic or Sheriff YC
Moneygall FC or Bridge Utd v Dingle Bay FC or Ballingarry FC
Great incentive to do well in fai for des league sides this weekend with potential home draws in next round, with the exception of ballingarry who would have a fair trip
Great draw for the Desmond sides if they come through this weekends fixtures...all home draw except ballingarry who would be away in Tipperary..ncw and shannonside both got great teams in castlebar celtic and sheriff who should progress to the 5th round..sheriff one of te favourites and castlebar always a good side..dunno anything about the teams broadford got
