Congrats square head
I am sure if you talk to pat he will tell you himself that it was a very bad move and he doesn't hide that i think he was capped with pike but i stand to be corrected on that but there is no way could you think that moving to fairview was a good move beaten by pike in the fai, munster junior, touhy cup and league and out of the lawson also with how many matches left to the end of the season, but it is great to see any limerick player representing his city at International level.
I think corbally are due to play kilmallock in the league next sunday morning. a very important game for both teams with regard to league position and to others around them also.anybody have a full fixture list for the league next sunday?
congrads fairview and pat mcgarry,, im delighted someone from limerick league is good enough for an irish squad. hopefully in the future a few more limerick lads will good enough to make the grade,, does anyone know when and where this match will be held

carew took the lead on 70mins with a screamer from pa boyle 30yrds out top corner regional levelled on 77mins all in all a draw was prob a fair result both teams had chances to win it.
kilmallock 1-1 corbally. a good game of football this morning at the county venue.some excellent passing football played by both teams at times.kilmallock started very quickly and had corbally under alot of pressure in the first 20mins.corbally scored a goal against the run of play through a fergal o connell header after a ken neylon shot rebounded off crossbar after good work by ian o donoghue.corbally really came into the game in the last 25mins of first half and went in 1-0 up at half time after kilmallock were denied on the break by a great save from fyffe in goals and some super last ditch tackles by afew of the corbally defenders.kilmallock again started well in the second half and got an equaiser through heffernan i think at close range after some well worked play up the wing.corbally really pushed on after the equaliser and robbie egan in the killmallock goal made 3 great saves, 2 of which were top drawer that stopped certain goals heading for the top corner.kilmallock had a header disallowed for offside on 80mins.all in all a draw was a fair result for 2 sides who tried there best to play football on a sticky surface after the weekend rain.although a draw was a fair result it doesnt help either teams that much.
