In general the price of an astro is over the 150 at the very least.
Wasn't the case last year ,less again the season before,,,,,,times have been tough .
Crazy money for clubs that can’t afford it 150 pitch 60 ref 20 wash gear 230 euro before you kick a ball our clubs mad you’d have to have 23 players charging 10 euro ahead to cover it.

No way any player will pay €10 a game. Hard to get any money off fellas these days. Astro pitches have gone through the roof, most places €150 without lights probably €200 with lights. More rain due, can't see many games going ahead this weekend.

At some point lads have to stop blaming everyone else the AUL, the weather, lack of players, no funding, the cost of Astros etc.
You got to grab the bull by the horns and get your own house in order set out your own high standards, get on funding and fundraisers and yes at times the price of an Astro will be required.
Be upfront and honest with players this is what is expected here no one’s forcing them to be at a club.
Success will follow might take an extended period but it will come and the club will be better for it in the long run.

Spot on but most fellas involved with clubs at AUL won’t admit it. It’s too easy to blame everything and everyone else without taking a look in the mirror. Honestly the AUL attracts the biggest moaners and whingers in the world. Get the fundamentals right at your own club first and then worry about changing global football.Quote:
