Everytime I played with Pearse against Kilreen they were close games infairness no matter who's squad is better local rivalries and buddies against each other are always close.
Traveling from Kerry to the game Sunday , can someone give me directions.
Fine pitch and dressing rooms credit where credit is due its a great pitch to play on and nice standing area for supporters with great view . Coming from kilarney I presume you be going through macroom then on into Bishopstown roundabout take the slip road off at Bishopstown roundabout take the second exit on roundabout stay in left lane heading for Sarsfield Roundabout take the third exit marked Sarsfield road continue up that road till you come to a T junction take the left and continue till you come to roundabout and take the 2 available exit be signpost for City Bounds continue up hill till you come to a Y junction take the right here and entrance is about 400 metres along that road on your left . Hope that helps
Will Lehenaghmore be playable this weekend? Would the Aul look at changing to an all weather pitch?
It's up to the manager where he wants the game to be played, the aul committee didn't want it out in turners cross because they didn't want to cover the cost of it which is crazy, if the weather conditions dent change by Sunday the wind up there will spoil the game.
I can clarify that the Cork Aul management team had no choice in the venue they weren't even consulted re venue and that's Gospel. But I think it's a fine venue it's got best drainage in whole of cork if anywhere can take a game with the weather we have its up their . I agree in relation to wind it's quite open and it would make conditions very hard .
Could the cross be actually closed? With city finished and no local cup finals till maybe the mossie in dec? They'd have a good month to do remedial work on pitch??
There not going to switch the match to the cross let's put it to bed and drive on for Sunday when the aul team play in togher for god sake. Correct me here if I'm wrong are the aul playing Fermoy tonight ?
Is there any truth in colm forde looking to leave glenthorne. Anybody know anything about this?'
Was talking to colm tonight Nd he seems excited about weeks ahead with glenthorn said a good few are returning .. silly season is not quite started yet
how the aul get on?
who scored ? any run down on the game ?
What will be the best starting 11 Sunday lads ? Hope the game is on up there
Scott callanan and colm forde
Surely you should need to be playing week in week out to be considered for the AUL team. That team is a joke Gratten won the league last year. Surely they deserve more players on the team. Also the like of Gary Nolan from the glen and Alan Murphy from Pearse need to be called up. 2 best attackers in the AUL in my opinion and they get there game with there clubs.
Your spot on. But when you have a squad as strong as kilreen course you won't be playing week in week out.. If I'm right he got the golden boot two years ago ? But better players out there.. They both scored for the aul last night and both played well. Colm ford is the main man I think Sunday
[QUOTE=scissors kick;1848225]alan murphy is the best winger in the aul for sure[/QUOTE
Not just because he's my best mate Alan's the best player in the the aul bar none! Alan works bad shift work that's probably the reason he's not on it
Fair play for sticking up for your player Hainzy. Another thing that I found strange with the AUL team and Kilreen players was the two young fellas Eoin and Barry they were apart of the AUL setup for awhile they don't get there games either with kilreen. So the only 3 players that had or have a connection with the AUL team only play about 20 min if there lucky a game.
Looking at last nights game and I no there was a few missing but I'd go with the same team that played Vs west cork as long as every 1 is fit with 1 change and that is Pallas Murphy at right back in stead of Eamon o sull !! Ps Scott call scored a serious free kick Vs west cork and is worth his place in the squad , serious threat going forward and caused west cork serious problems when he replaced pa long the last day , gets up and down to defend very well so defo worth his place !!

To be fair lads Scott is worth his place in any team when he's around the lad is a fine player he always working and stuff so dunno why ppl are saying he don't start wit Kilreen he would start in most teams once he can train he great squad player to have no bother with him wen not starting great attitude
Hi Lads
Will the Cork AUL V Kerry game go ahead with the weather continuing like this?
Any Predictions. Kerry lost 6-3 and Cork won 6-3 in their frist games. Kerry are not as bad as that scorline suggests and I dont know how Cork are considering West Cork would be the weakest in the group.
Should be an interesting encounter and a good game as long as the weather permits.
Im going for a 1-1 Draw.
