Ya fair enough but if theve any notion of winning the league these are games they should be putting the points on the board
If this keeps up dont think many games will go ahead this weekend either
Hard enough to get time off for games as it is !!!!!!!
Do coachford play nearly every Tuesday night,in friendlies,on all weather pitches?.so wouldn't effect them in my opinion if they moved their game
This weather is shocking lads I no it's not great scenario playing on astro but it has to be done it s not ideal giving up your home advantage like that but it's better then going to the opponents ground !
Would they though after what happened to killumney
Robbed playing in cork
True enough but i think ud be better off playing away all the pressure is on home team to perform
Others on this would argue you get robbed playing away aswell like and in coachfords case the pressure is on Pike there clear favourites so no pressure on Coachford really
Blarney st o-4 Wilton friendly up in mayfield com Wilton tore them apart could have been easily 10 sad to see an average Wilton side doing that to a premier aul team .
We were robbed playing Janesboro two weeks ago. Don't get me wrong they were at least a couple of levels above us and totally deserved the win but decisions went in their favour all game. We take a quick throw and are in on goal and their players start shouting it's not a match ball and ref stops the game to 'check'. The peno they got was never a penalty and their keeper even said he could see our centre half getting the ball from where he was., red card!!! The refs down here are afraid of being biased so they do the opposite and they are doing it for years.
Hubba, to the best of my knowledge Pikes last 2 visits to Cork to play Aul Prem sides they were hot favorites to wipe the floor with Leeside and Grattan respectively an then win the Fai there after.
I was at both games, The Gratts beat Pike fair an square. The Leeside game was 0/0 till Leeside had a man sent of with 10 mins to go an evemtually lost 2 nil.
I would be the first to admit Pike are outright favourites, class side, class club. But id also be the first to admit that Pike are notoriously well known in munster football circles for doin a Sonia in big games away from home.
Give Coachford a bit of credit, they have made great strides since Micky took over an if I know the man the way i do he will have his homework done on Pike an theres a good chance of an upset id say. Best of luck to um.
pike are second favs to win the competition they will be short priced favs to win this game. its a free game for coachford as such as expectations are clearly low . but nobody in corks like going down there and i dont think pike will either. can anyone confirm that linzell and lucey are suspended as this could be the real deciding factor in it. 2 huge players for them. hopefully babyzico and babyrossi run riot and theres a shock!!. 5/6 ye are at the weekend tricksey. where is yere game being played?
hard place to go for a result is coachford .hope so for the zicos nothing to lose this is the type of games you want at your clubs dont know about the 2 boys being suspended .best of luck to them but i know their only looking as far as castleview at the weekend.
