Why would ya be fielding an experimental side against Dundalk?

Once its both of us
Given the run ye are on I hope you would be backing yourselves this evening.
Was the very first thought that popped into my head reading that Wallace piece a few weeks back. ;) Not confident at all and yet we were a lot better in the last 2 games than the previous few including the away game in Limerick.
So the manager is going to decide the make up of next year's team based on one match, what a mastermind! In my opinion, it's a bit of a joke if they don't play their full side given the stakes that are involved. At the end of the day, if I was a Limerick supporter travelling to Dundalk for the game, I wouldn't be happy if we played an "experimental" side. The reality is that the vast majority of the teams in this league have had nothing to play for the whole season, it didn't stop most of the managers doing their utmost to win every game.
Who knows he could dislike Shels that much and put on an unregistered player so we get a 3-0 no matter what.
In all fairness your taking rubbish. You should worry about Shels getting 9pts from their next 3 games and not what we are going to do or try to blame our opposition teams.
We all know Limerick turn up for the big boys and play to their best and Limerick kind of have us sussed. 3pts tonight will go along way to securing promotion. This is our last real tough game
I can't see Mike Kerley playing a weakened side to be honest. Maybe try a few of the young lads but there was an A game on Monday and a U-20s game yesterday so it should be a near to full strength starting line-up.
Anything other than the above would be disrespecful to both Dundalk and Shelbourne. We play better against the stronger sides anyways.:D
According to RTE
"The Jackman Park club have been hit by a bug in the camp, which is affecting several of their players."
I almost read it as a bung in the camp...
bugs like a lot of light.. ask mick wallace
Could this be one of those psychological things to unsettle dundalk? In all fairness I think I'll take this with a pinch of salt until the starting 11 is announced. The Limerick boys are quite quiet on this.
BTW I love conspiracy theory's
Heard nothing official about the bug going around. If Limerick are experimenting tonight at most it will be maybe 2 or 3 different names on the team sheet. Bobby Tier, Brian Collopy maybe two names. Certainly won't be whole changes (Confirmation of bug going around pending :D)
Dundalk will be up for it, Gill's a good man and manager and I think they will win easily....:ball:
had a good bet on limerick at 7/1 tonight with william hills - has to be value in that with dundalks penchant for choking and limericks recent good form
Limerick at full strength.
Dave Ryan; Peter White, Paul Danaher, Tommy Barrett, Brian Cleary; David Ryan, Wayne Colbert, Thomas Lyons, Paul Walsh; Gary Sheehan, John Tierney.
no pat purcell
He's been out for most of the season anyway. Missed last week too.
According to Dundalk Fm Limerick are playing all the good football and look far better than Dundalk in the first half, making Dundalk do all the chasing. 0-0 as it stands.
1-0 to Limerick. Danaghar. Nearly half time.
