Cork/Pats sold out…
Disappointing result. Reminds me a lot of the game v Cork here (1st one) last year. Plenty of possession and balls into the box with an extra man, but didn't create one clear good chance. When you are caught up in the atmosphere it makes up for the quality of the football, but it was a cup semi-final. Dervin I think had a good game apart from a messed up free kick early on. Running on the pitch during the game and throwing flares onto the pitch really does not look good. Maybe a fence on the away section is the way to stop it, which is a pity. Or put them in the Comer stand, where they are further away from the pitch?
Get in there !!! What a start. Cork came flying out of the traps but two great chances for us since we’ve settled.
If only it had been the Dundalk game. Disappointing result yesterday. Was working for it, but from judging from the people that came into the restaurant, they were mostly disappointed with the overall effort, not testing Bohs enough. Still, it's been a great year. Nice words afterwards from Devine.
Edit: Re:Scrote bags ... What stupidity and chidlish behavior to fling a water bottle at Doyle there. I was worried it might have been something worse like a lighter. Unacceptable ****e that soured what was a great finish.
Keating really should have equalised there. Cork well on top at the moment . We’re getting outplayed and outfought in midfield.
Why have TM only two blocks for sale for final? I like to go premium for cup final.
Cracking finish from Conor Carty there,Bohs/Pats final it is…
So we go again. Bring on the Bohs !!!
Cork threw everything at us. If they played like that every week they’d be nowhere near the relegation playoff. Only for a defensive masterclass from Joe Redmond we’d been done for. Two great goals on our part, though.
So it’s a repeat of 2021. I really hope we can finish 4th so that will be the European question out of the way and can just focus on winning it. Could be another bumper crowd at this.
Apparently we had a few lads playing through illness and/or knocks, which makes the overall performance make a little more sense because we were a distant second best physically with several players looking out on their feet after about an hour. We were about as convincing as we have been for the last few months but as we so often have done managed to get the win anyway which is the main thing. We're so easy to play through but when you get to the box Redmond, Lyness etc are so hard to get past.
I think the final will definitely top the 2021 attendance. Just seems obvious that it should.
Great to get to the final. Performance wise we're poor in the 1st half after the goal but I thought we were fairly comfortable in the 2nd half. The 2nd goal was a sweet strike from Carty. Should be a great occasion in the Aviva I'm not entirely sure if we will break the 37,000 of 2021 but there will be a great attendance nonetheless.
Indeed CS, our worst result in 20 years - handed it to you on a plate for make the Semi, that said GU richly deserved to win and were full value of the 4-0.
Congrats to Pats and Bohs, should be a good final, both deserve to be there to be fair, Bohs had the easier run, but Pats on pens away to Derry was a tricky one, as for us putting out the favs on R1, distant memory now.
For the beaten semi-finalists, still a good season, Galway Utd winning the FD, and Cork City good chance of winning Play off, (and a big gate today) remember the PD side have the one game, v 3 is it for the FD side who make it, plus no guarantee it will be Waterford, prob will be though, v CC.
I dunno something like this is IDEAL to dampen the spirit of the over enthusiastic away fan, preferably raining too!

Draw for the cup final done this morning. Pats were drawn as the away team to complete the set of all away draws in the cup this year, meaning Bohs will be in the South stand again and pats in the North stand, same as 2021
