Because Lep says so?

I think the lad is getting a hard time. Time will tell anyways as to whether they have the backing or not secure for next season. If they have they'll be grand and if not, they will be in trouble.
Fianna Fáil are getting a hard time at the moment. Are you going to vote for them in the election?
Some of the comments directed at the lad were over the top to be fair. Why else would a post with comments on him have been edited?
Fianna Fail deserve their hard time, they are a bunch of gangsters.
I hope Sporting Fingal get passed the loss of Gannon's support. It's great to see a new club join the league. It can ruffle feathers but that's the way it goes. The Fingal project seems to be a sound one.
No harm legendz, but you're coming across as very naive. There's no point believing stuff because you hope it'll happen. And there's no point continuing to ignore media reports and legal documents, as have already been pointed out to you by L4S. Inspect the facts and draw conclusions. Don't draw conclusions based on what you hope will happen.
Edit - also, that's the first time you've incorporated an "if", I think. Previously, it was -
Obviously if they have backing for next year, they'll be fine. But if my auntie had balls... That's completely irrelevant to what's actually happening.Quote:

If we look at it that way then they haven't lost €750,000 from their budget, they have also announced the decision to cut entry prices very early, so we could chose to accept that they have budgeted for a possible cut of at least 1/3 in gate receipts. They've already released a number of highly paid players so there is likely to be a major cut in their wage bill.
I wouldn't be overly optimistic that this is the case, and it looks like they will find it difficult to meet all of their obligations this season, but it's a little early to write the off completely. The whole concept of "Sport in Fingal" is quite an admirable one, although Sporting Fingal FC does seem to have attempted to run before it should even be toddling, I'd like to see the FC survive and downsize and become the real community project that it initially seemed to be.
20/12/2010 12:30 AM, I used the word if here for the first time when I've given him the benefit of the doubt.
I use the word if because my understanding is the money is not there but if it transpires the money is, well it'll be I've said in this quoted post of mine.
Just on Lep, there's a fair chance he's just messing lads. Mainly to get some of you all riled up. There's no doubt he'll be more familiar with the problems than us. That he chooses not to address them here isn't an issue
Em no you haven't.
The first line of the post is "Ha ha, it's like you are going fishing and catching people out one by one"
If you are being objective and neutral then how has he caught me out? I presented two facts that have been in the national media. He more or less replied don't believe everything you read and that was good enough to "Catch me out"?
As above, either mods deal with it or posters ignore it
Personally haven't taken much stock in his posts since he said 700+ at a Fingal/Pats game when it wasn't half that
He seemed to only ever be about when this thread was commented on. He drove me spare but no matter and I think to be fair to other Spingal fans he gave em a bad rep all in all.
But answer me this does the title of this thread irk anyone else but me? Surely it should be "Are Sporting..."?
