Possibly making his debut tonight/tomorrow morning against Vancouver Whitecaps, kick off is 1am GMT
Came on for the last half hour in a 1-0 win.
Doyle scored his first goal for Colorado Rapids last night, on 2:48 in the highlights below
Coincidentally, he recently spoke of his pleasure at finally playing in his preferred role of the #9.

Doyle still sees future with Ireland.

Doyle the MLS's 19th highest earner.

Good finish to grab the winner for Colorado Rapids last night.

Was just about to post that.
I have a good laugh at the defending for a lot of the goals Keane scores, but in the interests of consistency that was some pretty laughable anticipation for that goal. Good finish and happy for Doyler though.
It seems an age since he scored a proper goal with his feet. I remember one game against West Ham he scored a cracking goal with his feet and had one of his last Roy of the Rovers kind of performances. He genuinely looked like a player who could play for a team like Tottenham or Everton. It was all downhill shortly after that. Hopefully he can at least become the folk hero at Colorado that he was at Reading.
Remember his goal in Slovakia? That Stan bloke knew how to get the best out of him :)

Singled out for praise by the Guardian stating that Doyle has "proved the solution to the Rapids' attacking issues". They also state that he's leading the line as part of a 4-3-3.

Winner for Doyle last night with an assist from St Ledger
2 mins and 22 seconds in.

Outstanding from Sledge!
Bit of a replica actually yeah, very difficult to dig those kind of crosses out when stretching to prevent the ball going wide.
Stadium was almost empty. Why build such a big one or was this an exception? Or do they share with one of the more popular sports?
It's only 18k.
Wow the widescreen format was horrendous, shows how stupid it is.
MInd you maybe widescreen help hide empty seats.
Still it looks more crowded than the mens doubles final at Wimbledon!!

It is mainly for Soccer but used for some other events, apparently it hosted England v Ireland in the Churchill Cup (Rugby).
I guess there are certain economics of building a stadium, if it is too small you miss the opportunity to host
certain events.
It is actually the second smallest by 86!
Some of the MSL stadiums have actually artificially reduced their capacity apparently (to 20,000)

There is an article about MSL stadium capacity here

This is on the list of stadia I need to go to.

Get yourself a nice cheesesteak while you are there. With whiz of course.

A 4th regular season game winning net buster for Kevin "clutch" Doyle. What an addition to the roster he's been!
#DoyleRules
How pleased can Kevin Doyle be to be flying so far across the world when we all know he's our fourth best striker at best? Keane, Walters and Long will always be options ahead of him.
missed out on Colorado Rapids 3-1 loss to FC Toronto with an adductor strain
That is a tough injury to come back from - I had it myself, worst pain of my life. Poor guy. Is he out for the rest of the MLS season? Colorado are very pitiful anyway.
Could it rule him out of the Poland game?
If so who will replace him?
Opened the scoring tonight for Rapids with and assist from St Ledger. Great header

Good header from that distance, call him up Trap!!
That's some goal. Quinny would have been proud of that one.
Doyle told at last minute he wouldn't be needed for Poland.

Captaining Colorado Rapids away to DC United tonight, starting on Sky Sports 5 at 9
He posted a pic on Twitter of his injury.
Really NSFW. Really really.

That's looks awful but it's good news, just a flesh wound.
You can literally see his tendons and muscles.
It looks like something from The Walking Dead
One month out, give or take a few days
Rapids on Kevin Doyle's injury
He’s expected to spend at least 3-to-5 weeks recovering from the injury, according to Rapids head coach Pablo Mastroeni.
“It looked pretty bad but we anticipated it to be a lot worse as far as the time he’d be missing,” Mastroeni told MLSsoccer.com on Tuesday
