By all appearances, sweat remained unbroken in doing so.
Well that was just freaky.
Robbie is interviewed on this weekend's Football Focus for BBC World (view from 17:00): http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23812458
For Robbie, it's still "all about the football".
Edit: Interview also on YouTube:

Keane always looks like the ringer in a 5-a-side astro game in these clips.
Revised, what a highlight reel all credit to longevity:)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLHQSwVFccc
Love that video. So many great goals. So many important goals. I had totally forgotten about that goal against Denmark (goal number 10). Absolute screamer.
His bobblehead look like the actor Ed Norton:

I was having a kickabout with my 7 year-old in the park last week, having shown him the clip of Robbie's two goals for LA posted by Sully above.
I was in nets and he ran towards me, getting too close to me just as I thought Robbie did for goal 2 above. Just as I was about to tackle him he just jinked it over me! He said he got it from Robbie Keane.
Both of us were enthralled by the "complete Robbie Keane Irish goal collection" posted by Grafter. What a player. And to think most people actually moan about him!
Why can't people spell Colombia?
Chris Columbus confuses things.
British Columbia has 4.4 million people.
Columbia is an old name for America the continent, derived from the Columbus' name, hence District of Columbia, British Columbia, etc. Colombia is a Latin American name for the same, derived from the Spanish spelling of his name, Colombos, which later became the name by which the country itself is know.
Two goals and an assist for Keane tonight against the San Jose Earthquakes. Hopefully he will be on the first flight towards Dublin tomorrow and training in Malahide on Monday or Tuesday.
Why is he even wasting his time playing in such a terrible league. He's clearly too good to be playing there, he scores in almost every match.
His first was a penalty:

Keeper nearly managed to keep it out.
His second was a lovely volley into the bottom corner of the net after a header down from a team-mate inside the box:

Robbie counted to 12 before striking the penalty.
He hit it too close to the keeper but still managed to squeeze it past the goalie. He had the look of a guy who knew it was far too close.
