if it was a shoot - out then its the ref who made the mistake!!!!!!!
bennocelt, don't want to take this anymore off topic but it's dealt with by a ref in the Rules of the game thread on Junior League.:ball:

Thanks, thats an interesting thread, but I still think Im right!!! LOL A peno shootout is def different to a regular peno in 90 minutes, and those rules spouted by REf dont make any sense at all
Kind of like the Dáil ...
That was my understanding of it too, but from wikipedia -
So the ref was correct to give a goal.Quote:

+1. The "wikipedia can't be trusted" line is a nonsense, the vast majority of content on Wikipedia is good enough to be used as a non-academic reference. If you have an issue with the Wikipedia article, check the references and correct it instead of knocking people who actually made an effort.
Grow up for god's sake, your posts make you look like a cross between Jay and Neil in the Inbetweeners.

I flagged that as animal abuse, horse whipped to run on tarmac, cruel
I had 2 thoughts watching that - one the same as you Bennocelt, the second being a bit more lighthearted - or actually shameful, this is posted on the internet, therefore the idiots can be all pulled in, Transits and all.
What's that stereotype about women drivers again?.....................

No, Wikipedia is generally used as a reference to a point. It shouldn't be a reference as much as ramblings on a forum should be. It can be used individually to read up on something further, but so can The Star.
I read in The Star that foot.ie is rubbish. Does that make it so?
I have experienced people giving wikipedia references in their PhD thesis..
Did you not actually understand my post dfx-? I really don't think you did.
I'll check what Wikipedia says about understanding and get back to you..
Edit:
Sorry, I may not have. Or maybe I did. Wiki isn't sure :(Quote:
