i woundnt say its loudicrous what i meant would be in an ideal world without the gaa it would a good idea less games called off better standard of pitch as i said in my post youd lose alot of teams to gaa

By doing that you would cripple 75% of clubs. If you were to do it at adult level then underage would have to follow. Who's it going to benefit when a child has to make a decision whether to play soccer or gaa? Its bad enough that lads do there best to accomodate both without forcing them to chose one over the other. Can anybody on here say that within there team and club have nobody juggling both? Crazy talk
I know what you mean, forgetting the GAA we would have less matches called off. 3 years ago I think we went 11 weeks without a match because of the frozen pitches.
I can say we would have 100% no one play gaa in our team.nov dec and jan are disaster for games.weather to unpredictable.flip sideof your argument buzzkill is that if choice is made either way it would benefit teams in gaa and football as they would be more settled and stronger.just my opinion

Killumney 3-0 Greenwood, scoreline probably flatters Killumney, they got 3 quick goals in last 20, Greenwood were dogged and had a few chances, including a sitter to make it 1-1, but overall Killumney deserved winners
Killumney where lucky if u ask me greenwood played way better football they had plenty of goal opportunities should of been 2-0 up at hall time but killumney came out the winners
I agree they got a bit of luck with the 2nd goal, (keeper should have saved it) and the penalty, but Greenwood have to take their chances in big games, or they will get punished by the better teams, i have been impressed with Greenwood this season though, not a great start to the league for them but i think they will pick up more than enough points!

Macroom manager said after game it wasn't a peno..
But that's the great thing about football matter of opinion, and you're intitled to yours
Seeing you were at the game..
How about our player bein taken down In box in second half..
Was it a peno??
Just wanna see what your opinion on that is?
Taught they were both penos but macroom centre half said he didn't touch him so I'd believe him haha, taught the result was harsh on ye.they would want to be upping their game for grattan away this coming weekend.

Our player said he got chopped down,so il believe him :p 2-0 would have made big difference
Fair point do..
2 weeks in a row we left the game behind us
Thought Killumney were full value for the 3 points yesterday I left as soon as the 3rd goal went in and from what I can remember Greenwood didn't have a shot on target.
Good win for us on Pens against Pearse on Saturday, wasn't a classic but do think we just about deserved it. Into the semi final now for us and looking forward to our first league game on Saturday!
Aul 5 -0 Leeds very impressed wit Gary comer ford wen in the middle very very tidy
Pace up top really opened Leeds up 2nd half some good goals scored. Hopefully they get a result on Wednesday
Gary is a class act to be fair to him, good result for the AUL, Derek Heaphy took his goals we'll as did Gary Nolan. Good win but wouldn't take anything from it Leeds had a very very weakened side out and most of their better players weren't playing, but you can only beat what is in front of you and they did that well. Best of luck to them Wednesday night.
Leeds aren't weaker than them, well a full strength Leeds aren't anyway.. The team Leeds played last night were tho. Can't fault the management for that, they can't decide what players the other teams will field
