I voted for Harps as they have potential to be a very big club but Id be worried at the moment as they have a donkey of a manager aka Hegarty and no real top class coaching staff at the club.

I admire him for his knowledge of the game on this Island both north and south. He is also very witty with some great remarks and dumbfounds his opponents he also drills them hard to make the other poster submit until they take his point of view and probably lie in a heap after exhausted. There is nothing sexual in my admiration of the man.
Er . . . the team out of the four who ends up with the most points, since unlike people who buy into the AIL, I still believe in this principle.
i was looking at the table last night and I thought that maybe Bray or Sligo could slip back in to it. Bray seem to be in freefall and can't get a win and Sligo may lose a couple of more players with financial difficulties.
That's nonsense, and you know it. The only way forward is intelligently designed leagues.

Galway for me. They bring more to the league than the rest in my opinion.
They were given an invite to the league, what were they going to do ... turn it down?
Its a pity that clubs voted for playoffs that year because they were never going to have any bearing on who went up/down ..... It didn't matter who won them, it was not going to decide who was going up.
They had a tiny effect on the football performance side of the assessment. I'd say clubs voted for it for the combined reasons of having something to aim for and adding any tiny bit of weight to the football side they could. Unfortunately for Dundalk, it wasn't enough in those circumstances.
