not all of them but the ones like bohs, rovers city (all twice at home) will make it even i reckon.

As for the chairman and his comments about past peoples performances he was completely out of order! It was extremely low and very unprofessional of him to be throwing out those remarks at anyone who challenged him. He lost a lot of respect from me.
As for those on here who don't turn up to the AGM's and want to scrap the constatution!
The only way for this club to survive is for us all to attend the AGM's. Read and study the constitution before the next AGM and put your proposals in, very carefully worded. If we can start making our voices heard we might have a chance of influencing the system and the clicks.
I have about 5 proposals prepared and stored already for next. I urge you to do the same. Show them that we are not just going to stand there and listen to their bitching all night, that there is actually a group of people who have the clubs interest as a priorty and have no history or hidden issues.
I honestly think we will have the loudest voice and the majority of the FANS on our side!!!!!

That proposal of Don Ramo's wasn't listened to and it should have passed in my opinion. It's farcicle that it didn't pass.
Can someone who stayed to the end tell me if the AGM is at the same time next year? I think it should be around late December, early January.

I think it was metioned that the AGM that the constitution states it has to be in either January or February

as i said previous lads all this agm talk is getting us nowhere the chairman has a plan and no matter what we believe we have to trust him, we are football supporters and the football side of things is getting a little lost its only 7 days till we kick off the biggest season we have ever experienced and i for one am excited by it and p$ssed off with agm this and that , motions this and motions that , jesus you would have less motions if you had a bout of diaarhoea,

forget about the chairman and committee they have asked to be voted back in so the financial health of the club is now in there hands not ours
let us get behind the most important man in the club hendo and give him what he deserves positive feedback and thoughts we need to be the 12th man this year if we are to survive there is no point us showing up at galway game still mumbling about this fella said this and the chairman said that

I agree, but we needed to talk this out to be prepared for next years AGM so it won't get hijacked, and if it does we will be able to hijack it back!

We should all be getting behind the comittee and Marco and the team whatever our allegiences (spelt something like that)

What I think should be done is Hendo should be Manager of the comittee and take them on a team building trip and work his wonders so they can work as a team too!!!!!!!!1

seriously the time to bring forward motions for the agm is next november when season ends this gives you three months to organise what you like, no point getting people to act now as nothing can be done for a year

we should be focusing on team and i have been thinking about this today, we should organise to help marco put your time where your mouth is and help him to do whats needed

club is always talking about new blood blah blah blah, and always having a cut off people posting, so for a new start why not organise info meetings for people on a bimonthly basis, or as this seems like a good placfe for ideas and improvements why not set a team to meet with marco on a monthly basis we can brainstorm together and throw some ideas out there and see if they can be put into practice and we can also get feedback from club as to future promotions which we could throw our weight behind it and spread to the masses instead of fighting us why dont the club allow us to help them help
ourselves

Rant of the Week and it's a good one too.

i have two rants today and i think i could feel another coming on, what do you think about ideas/ feedback team i think if club were willing it would work and give us a chance to do something positive

I think the words your looking for are FOCUS GROUP and I would be in favour of one. Fans should be consulted on most matters in the running of a football club.

focus group i like it i stayed away from the word comittee as that is such a filthy dirty word(shudder). it could be an actions as well as discussions thing, ie putting up posters etc

not hard to gather every two months as you said, but i think (bar the flags and gutsies sponsorship), people on here are all talk, sad to say buts it true, what your on about is a brilliant idea, id have no prob even donating E50 once a month or so to help get stuff movin, for the good of the club,


even if you scouered the innernet for twenty mins a day youd find some good ideas,

good idea, if we move on it it would be great

i am willing to give a couple of hours a month straight away, people are great here to moan and stuff but back it people, we asked for player sponsorship and we did that at a push why not stop the crap talk and have some action

money donation is not what its really about in my opinion its more about helping out with posters etc i think and giving the club a different viewpoint which apart from this site is never seen A FANS VIEWPOINT

IE if there is a competition being run at halftime we could help we could spread the word we could research ideas etc


i one thing i hate about ramblers is the endless going round and round in circles and nothing is ever decided

yup very anoying, a bit of research and and 15 minutes at half time wouldnt be a lot to ask, i only mentioned money as most things to be done need it, most not all, do we think half time crossbar challenge would be good been metioned a few times here, would it be good,

we will see what the club say and go from there:)

i dont know who outside in is but i think that ppl looking at these forums might mistake his identity from bits of info given here. from just readin this thread i know tat at least hes a rams fan and he also drives a white civic with blacked out windws. tats where my problem lies, i also drive 1 of them so i think tat i cud be mistaken for him. it is better off people on this forum either not give clues to his identity or else just say who it is. i think hes intitled to his opinion but these forums are annonymous and giving clues so tat ppl mistake his identity undermines this.

civic think was a total make up i never realised or knew anyone here had one it was just a laugh no offence meant i have no idea who outside in is nor do i really care, so there is noway i could be giving clues to his identity, sometimes things get taken out of context and if they do i apologise
