just wanderers its a joke down there some weeks.....they also had spells wit springers just like most of wanderers current team..as i said pub team

Out of the current wanderers squad only 3 or 4 played AUL and the rest all played for the ramblers at underage level and up so your point of wanderers being a pub team is way off the mark, but i suppose the only bit of ball you are playing is with your hands in your pockets
Timmy O'Shea, Barry Hastings, Eddie Nolan
no name calling just standing up for the local lads that give there time for free to play for the likes of wanderers and springers with out them being wrongly labelled pub teams or pub players i thought thats what the night owls was for
Ramblers underage players that are now at Wanderers
called up because of injury to first choice keeper and is signed to the junior team the other player is mark moran he isnt signed to play senior this year,my comment was on the other players who have played for the ramblers at one time or another who now seem to be playing for a pub team, have no issue with the aul players who are in the squad

da point was theres more dan 4 dat played aul on da team
Paul Stanton was a product of Springers aswell wasn't he?
He was on the team with Davin and Jason Gleeson that won the league and Cup double back in the day.
[QUOTE=outside in;827423]i agree with you on that point,i didnt get out the squad names and count them it was more of that there are probably more ex ramblers down in the wanderers than Aul,it still just get away from the fact that you lambasted the senior premier msl team and players as a joke and a pub team at least they are all from cobh
This is from the current squad who i think have played for cobh ramblers at one time or another it is open to correction ,hanlon, creedon,o'keefe, nolan,o'shea, stack, faroq,b urke and quinlan stevan or jimmy maybe both, all good players
boring here we go again with this "well at least they are from cobh" crap
the ramblers team has a number of cobh players , the number is decided by quality, the rest are not up to it.
look at other teams how many locals do they have any team with any desire for success has a mix of locals and people from outside area
we are lucky our local area is cork , in reality all our players live within a 15-20 mile radius of the ground, man utd cant say that.
lads if the people ye talk about showed as much dedication as davin, barrett, meade they may have some chance but the usual cobh way kicks in couldnt be bothered and rather get p*ssed than dedicate to football.
y is my name on dat quote i never said it
sorry bud took it from other post
BORING!
Please lets stay on topic, i.e. potential new players. If ye want to keep throwin handbags at each other over meaningless stuff like this, please start a new thread. The rest of us are losing the will to live...
i only spoke out as it was going down the road of a rams slagging session, which is annoying. this as you say is about new players so lets keep it there:mad:
nice one chimpster:D
The above quote is not mine it is outside in's i have said this all along that the msl and all the teams in it put a lot of time and effort in to there teams and season to be treated with a little more respect and not be called pub teams and as for my comment(at least they are all from cobh)was in no way a dig at cobh ramblers football club or players as i have the greatest respect for all they have acheived this year and in previous years because with out them they're would be no wanderers no springers, and as for outside in,come down to the wanderers or springers games once in awhile and get behind the local teams you never know you might even enjoy it,especially now that the E.L is on a break
Jeez lads, I wish you'd all learn to quote properly. It's hardly rocket science! As well as getting boring it's all getting confusing too :D
