Does anybody know if the beta update has been cracked?
anyone having trouble with the actual disk? In that sometimes the disk doesn't read for no reason whatsoever?

The official patch is out, no mention of any updates for the eircom league though.
There is minimal updates. They've fixed the kits from what I can see but they haven't done much else.Quote:

If I'm in the middle of a season on the game then download the update patch, can I continue that season or do I need to start all over again? How does it affect the game mid-season?

But in any event even if its not you would still be able to continue any saved games.

Hey lads, Ive been asked to collect information regarding errors in the Eircom League on Football Manager 2008. This means everything from positions, squad numbers, transfers, manager movements etc etc. So the reason I am posting this is to get help from you guys to make the game as realistic as possible for you. It's wrong. What's happened is that the amount of teams in each division has changed (as real life) but the amount of games played in each division has not.Quote:

If you've downloaded the kits that Derek made Cork City should be in the First Division folder.
Download this facepack for the eircom League- it should already have what you're looking for.

Ah yeah, I'm a thick when it comes to anything like that. The face pack that you sentme to downloads fine but the players photos on their profile pages are very small compared to the ones already on the game. I haven't got Image Shack so don't have a clue how to do any of that stuff. I'll just carry on without them. Thanks for your help anyway.

For some completely illogical reason - since I've updated the game - for about 70% of all the corners taken in the game, some lunatic from the team taking the kick drifts out to the very corner of the six yard box (about 3 yards wide of the goal) and blasts a header wide every time. Same thing kept happening to me. Just go to the player instructions and change whichever on of your strikers has "stand at near post" to "attack near post".

Heres a link lads for two redone Eircom League packs as well as a few more. The EL packs now include the new Galway, Cork, Bray and Derry kits. Ill make more as there made and then do the EL facepack I do every year when all squads are complete
