Is he? I didn't know that, I thought he was a titular director of football or something. Is that entirely wise, considering he'd cut and run in an instant if a suitable managerial job came up?
It might be more of a consultancy role until the Shelbourne Development people have an idea about football. All I know is that I'm a lot happier with Brian Kerr involved in the club.
Wouldn't read too much into Kerr having a coffee/drink with one of his ex players. LOI football in Dublin is a very small world, he was probably asking him about a couple of ex Shels players we're more han likely to sign on July 1st
Some guy posted on our forum about Mark Rooney. Whats he like pats fans?
He's fast. Not as fast as he used to be, though. Other than that he's pretty ineffective and usually anonymous (particularly when the studs are flying.) He does have a good engine, but it's in his fancy car.
He's a headless chicken!
Well last year, when we were **** and played rubbish football, he looked out of his depth
This year, when we're top of the league and playing lovely football, he's totally out of his depth
Tries hard though. Good luck to him in Dundalk
we might be signing a new keeper. he's from dublin and is friends with waterford's alan mulcahy. i think his name is ronan......any1 have a clue who he is???
If he was then Johnny won't get any sympathy from me if things go t*** up
Houllier for Pats . . .
Ive heard it all now from pats fans . . . .
Even were it not for this comment I cant help but feel pats fans (those on here in particular) are not living in the real world
Kerr is going to be an advisor to Johnny Mc Donnell in relation to First team matters. He will be scouting new players etc and advising on opponents etc.
The sort of detailed data Brian did on his own behalf when he was Pat's manager and the intertnational team.
United signing a dutch striker and another player from England both have been on trial and are in full training since sunday as has Shaun Fagan.
Chris Turner to Bohs(or possibly Burnley). £30,000 is the figure mentioned.
Is someone going to start an official transfers thread? I seem to remember an attempt to start one a few weeks back. Be nice to have all the comings and goings in one place.
It looks like Mr. Turner will not be going anywhere until the end of season, according to SC in the Mirror. He has apparently picked up a knee ligiment injury and will be out for at least 6 weeks
Unfortunate for Sligo as I think we were prepared to meet their financial demands to get him early.
Shaun Fagan (Motherwell)
Daryl Robson (Middlesboro)
Michael Mensa Yeboah (Dutch)
All signed for Galway United plus one more to be announced on Wednesday. Cant Play Tonight though even though they have been training with Galway for the last 5 weeks.
Harps have signed Declan Divin from Institute.
willie john keily signed for blues from aberdean, he also recived terms from drogs which he rejected
Kildare County
Out
Sean L'Estrange (released). Being linked with Shels and Longford.
Amond - returns to Rovers from loan today.

Transfers expected soon.
Bohs look like signing Stephen Dawson from Mansfield & Dean Richardson from Celtic. Also heard we're in for Michael Keane of Rotherham. It's been very quite on the rumour front so far!
Apparently we are...
Why would Pat's sign Dave Rogers?
I think Frost is better. Rogers looked so bad in his last game against UCD, I mean really woeful. He stepped off and showed a player the inside, who was already a yard inside of him. Bad signing in my opinion.
